Scalliwag
biglandy71's thread got me thinking about how well a hookah lounge with no alcohol would do. I understand that where there is alcohol there is drunks and more potential for trouble now and then. To me the hookah atmosphere draws a different crowd and depending on the area and potential clientelle. Clubs tend to set their own tone and once they are established they gain the reputation according to what a regular night is like. The big question is are people that are attracted to hookahs most likely to drink alcohol? Without the option how is it going to affect business? Very legitimate concerns when going into the business. There are 4 poll answers because it may not be a simple yes or know. Would you go at all and if you did would would stay longer if there was or was not alcohol? I would go one time just to see what it was like but I would either have a few before or a few after so I would not make more than a hour or two. cymptom
I was at a place yesterday that was BYOB... that seemed to work pretty well. I brought a bottle of Sake and thought it went great with the smoke.
Houser13
considering i havent been to my share of shisha bars due to new canadian by-laws prohibiting smoking indoors, from what ive seen drinking and shisha dont mix too well, cause sometimes jsut that one random drunk will set off the mood and u will no longer be enjoying your session.
