Smoke Only 1 Pipe

hey guise, just checking out the show your stuff collections..and man i was in love with some of the pipes..i think i ave a hard on that would last for weeks.anyhow that has got me thinking, I must not be a hookah hobbyist if I only own 2 pipes...and one of those is the mini mya u get free from h-s. So basically i consider myself a -1- hookah owner.So to feel not so left out, How many other people only have 1 pipe?? Or for those multi-pipe owner do you use all your pipes, or is there one you favor more and why?

I have two, but only smoke one. My go to pipe is a generic Egyptian with a Razan hose. My other is a very tall KM three tier ice with a grand caravan hose. Its just awfully bulky and sits in a corner. The whole thing is 40" tall

I have 4. The first one I got was a gift, then I bought a KM as an upgrade, sold it, and replaced it with a Mya paragon, this is my favorite just because it smokes great and I spent so much money on it, I couldn't bear to see it just sit. I bought another KM locally, but I bought it cause it was only $15 then I bought a Mya petite for parties, but since my Mya Paragon breaks down, I just take that. Haha.

I only own one hookah currently, but am working on getting a second one I've always wanted.

Don't let it bother you that you are a 1-hookah owner. Who really NEEDS more than one? I have three. My first was a Bambino, a perfectly good starter hookah but I did feel I needed one that was made a little better so I got a KM and I was happy I did that. And I would have smoked with the KM happily for many years to come but I saw the Mozza recently and realized how much more convenient it would be (portability and washing) so I got that too and now I pretty much smoke out of it exclusively. I don't see myself needing any other hookah. WANTING another hookah is an entirely different matter.

As long as you have one hookah that gives you a consistently great smoke, then everything else is just icing on the cake.

I have a handful of pipes. Mostly I use my Nammor Ramses III by myself or with a couple people.

My other pipes only ever get used if we wanna run multiple flavors, or to use a multi-hose.

I only own one - I co-owned previous hookahs with an ex, but I've never owned more than one hookah at a time.

I have two. 30" KM and a 40" Temsaah. Usually use one for about two weeks then switch to the other one for two weeks. They both smoke the same... Just feel bad about one sitting in the corner.

36" km ice and mya qt. the qt sees the most use as it sits out of the way on a corner of my desk, but the KM is good for when I'm not smoking at my desk. It usually stays over by my rocking chair when it's been in use recently.

I don't plan on buying any more pipes, I don't see the point.

I have 3: A OGKM tri, an Al Nawras, and a Mya QT. Right now, the Nawras is seeing the most smoke. Before, the QT was my go to pipe, and before then, the KM was it.

Who really needs 16+ hookahs anyway. Enjoy the one you have and as long as you smoke hookah, you are considered a hobbyist.

I have a couple of hookahs and generally use my KM exotica but if i have friends over and alcohol is involved then I use one my other egyptians, and if the friends want me to bring hookah to their house for a party or while we are hanging out i usually use my qt for that. I still have a few to many hookahs lol

I don't think you're crazy. I had one pipe for the longest time. Now I have 3. A Km tri metal, a Nour and some old random hookah thats kind of like a Syrian, might be an Ager, but it doesn't get smoked much anymore. Most the time I smoke out of the Nour anyways

wow its crazy actually alot of people own 3 for some reason...but seems to be logic to it. A small for travel and desks...medium for smoking by urself or few others...and a large... for display and backup use. I dont feel so left out seeing what and how people feel about having multiple hookahs. i want to get a new hookah but like genie said...its a want..so i am in no hurry to get it but other then that one pipe I really don't see any other ones i would be willing get.

i have 18...i smoke about 3 or 4 regularly...the rest get used when i'm too lazy to wash the regulars.

with those numbers(and kilo's)...you don't count arcane..your basically a hookah lounge with out a building

I had one for over 5 years, and it smoked like beast and never let me down. Some brandless screw-together Lebanese. But I started entertaining at the house more and realized 1 wasn't enough, so I bought a second in May (which is not great). I then bought a Lebanese cafe-style in Lebanon 6 weeks ago, because I've wanted one of those for a while, and I have an Elmas in mail somewhere, currently transiting through Eastern Europe.

Really, 2-3 is the max I'd put on one nargile, and I often have 6-7 people over


When they all end up at the same place, I'm thinking the Cafe Leb for DA, the Elmas for fruity stuff, the original Leb for not sure, maybe mint or kashmir? and the small not so great one for black tobacco, which i only smoke a few times a year.

I used to have 7 or 9 or something ridiculous.

i currently have about 2 in the rotation. one cafe style lebanese (which i use more frequently) and a km trimetal with a small boho vase. i have a smaller lebanese that i take with me places and a temsaah that's just sitting in the corner not doing much (i plan on selling it eventually). i also have a medium solid AF and a km hafa chilling in the garage (also planning on selling them). i have a KM double kamanja at my vacation house that get's used about 6 times a year.

imo, there's really not a need for more than 3. i could see 2 in the standard rotation (to switch it up) and a smaller one for travel.

i have three but only two get used regularly my km pharonie which i have at home and my mya mini which is at friends but both get used daily. my km single pear only gets used every now and then. i think two is a good number one on back-up incase something breaks on the first one Edited December 14, 2010 by jeremyk

Right now I have one at my house that I smoked occasionally, but I do own about 5 all together but they are at my friends houses.
