Epoch
Is this for your personal stash? Also, you came to the wrong place looking for smokeless tobacco. Edited December 14, 2010 by Epoch
TheyCallMeDave
Don't get me wrong, op. We all appreciate your head-strong desire to help our troops, they deserve it. But this is the second time you've posted the exact same topic in the same thread strain within two weeks (notice how it's been moved once.) Thank you for informing us, if any of us donate we will be sure to contact someone. But be aware that if you constantly post the same topic, there is a 99% chance you will be labeled a spammer, or worse, someone who uses the name of U.S. troops to gain shisha for his or her own benefit. Not accusing, just food for thought.
TheyCallMeDave
On a lighter note, my uncle has never been happier with a gift from me than me sending him some tangiers horchata and Orange soda. Said him and his boys adored the stuff.
cemab4y
I only want to help the men and women who rish their lives here in Afghanistan. I do not need any items for myself. I have been doing this for over 6 years, and 100% of the donations go straight to the troops (Including Canadian and Australian). I do not use smokeless, either. But the troops can't light up, when they are on patrol, so a lot of them dip. I can provide you with the names of several people who can vouch for this program. I get a lot of stuff from the Masons. (And 100% of the items go to the troops).
jorlyfish
In your last thread, someone posted links to lots of organizations that help with this kind of thing. Here it is again.
they've got a lot of companies doing that sort of thing...great cause.... http://www.soldiersangels.org/ http://www.give2thetroops.org/ http://www.opgratitude.com/ http://anyairman.com/ receiving care packages from total strangers was really nice and was one of the highlights of our deployments...
Nothing against you, cemab4y, but why not have people send items through these organizations? I'm sure you understand the questioning people will have in sending items to an individual (and a stranger) and just having blind faith that they will distribute these items. Also, are you allowed to give your exact location, especially this publicly? Just seems like the military wouldn't necessarily want people posting their current deployment locations online.
