Recommended Posts

[size="3"]Hi,

I have these coals called Torch Coal. They are silver coloured bricks with black in the middle
My question is, can i heat these up on a Barbecue in a park?
Thanks,

You might get a strange coating on them, but it will probably work. I know that when I go camping, sticking my coconaras directly into the fire, like sitting on a long engulfed in flames works really well. Never tried a bbq grill before.

You should be fine as long as the grill is clean, or you can stick the coals on the already fully heated charcoals.

I do this all the time, light them on the existing coals if you're grilling. Hell if you grill on proper wood coal and not briquettes you can use those too, provided there are no additives or chemical treatments
