New Order From Hookahset.Com Arrived

To get the free hookah, you needed to put it in your cart and then at checkout apply the code freehookah. If you did that you would've realized that you couldn't use two codes on the same order cuz when you put in the 10off code it takes the previous applied code off. If it isn't in your cart and invoice, it won't be in your box. Although I agree, Mark should have called you. He's called me twice to clarify and confirm my order, so not sure why he didn't in your case. Good luck.

now i am having a problem.

so i bought a km jumbo base and a couple packs of tangiers.

they are out of stock of the km jumbo's, but when i placed my order the website said that only the gold ones were out of stock, and it has said that for months, as i have been waiting to buy one for a while (had to get the money first, as i am a poor college kid). I emailed them promptly after making my order to see if they have any ball bearings for purge valves, as i lost mine, they do, so they are adding it. then i get an email saying they are out of stock. i appreciate that he asked if there were any other KM bases i wanted, but i want the jumbo in specific. i dont need a new base, i just wanted that one. they sent that email to me on wednesday, but i did not have any time to reply to that yesterday as i spent all day moving a huge majority of my stuff out of my dorm room and back to my parent's house. my biggest concern now is that they sent it out with some random vase in it, assuming i needed a new vase or something (just a guess). I would resolve this whole problem with a simple phone call, but out of the 5 times i have called they have not answered their phone. frustrating

well... i guess we will see when they ship it out to you clickhea.

Ian: hmm...sounds like people may want to srat looking elsewhere if they are having stock problems as well as continuing communication issues.

Well, I now know that if I ever do order from them, it's going to be stuff that they cannot easily mess up, like shisha and coals...

But hell, these horror stories are making me just want to stay away period.

But the prices... soooo good. But is it worth all the worry and hassle?

I just don't know anymore...

Personally, no. I know we all want to save as much money as possible when ordering, but shelling out a few more dollars to a vendor I know will send it quickly, pack it correctly and get my order right is worth it in my eyes.

I guess we'll see how this order goes. It should be here early next week.

i guess im one of the lucky ones, ive only had one problem and it was fixed immediately, no questions asked, other than that all my packages from them were here in a timely fashion and always had everything i ordered in them.

Hi guys, I'm new member here but I have been reading the forum for a while so I figured I make this my first post :)
I dealt with hookahset before and at first they were horrible but they improved dramatically since they started. I usualy buy everything I need locally but sometimes I'm lazy to drive 40 min to te city so I decided to give them a shot. Yes, they have decent prices but keep in mind the following when/if you decide to order from them:
- Hookahset is a "kosher" butcher shop with a hookah business on the side.
- shipping/packaging : they use flat-rate USPS boxes so they try to stuff as much as they can in a box so packaging material is optional. I'm not sure what they use now since I haven't ordered in a while and they have a $4.95 flat rate.
- you have to communicate (emai, call) a guy name Mark once you place an order or even before to confirm the stock or make sure they don't substitute for item they don't have in stock with something you don't want.
- be aware of all the Jewish holidays and make sure you don't order around them otherwise you will be waiting a long time for your order.

i feel sorry for all the guys that have had to deal with bullshit orders and missed items, but they havent fucked up my order or given me shit i didnt order so until that happens they are my go to vendor. the fact that they get here so quick is a bonus too (closer than other vendors). placed my first order with them Dec '09 and they haven't screwed up yet...

To be fair, they had to shutdown thier hookah business in NYC due to some new laws prohibiting the sale of flavoured tobacco and moved thier warehouse to NJ so it is possible to experience delays or lost orders. Keep calling.

messed up my order and offered to fix it at half price...I'm a broke college student, I want what I ordered, not to have to pay more to get what I wanted much later with some stuff I didn't order...I don't know whether to pay the half off for the 5 screwed up items or not...this was at the beginning of the month

edit: the messed up items were Xmas presents I ordered...the only thing messed up was presents for my friends

I ordered 6 blue nuhoses to match my two friends' blue vased, multihose hookahs, I was sent 1 blue, two yellow, two black, and one red...the email responce asking how we could fix this was:

ya..i can see that. tell em to send a call tag for the mistakes and to send the right one out second day.

I'm thinking something has gone terribly wrong with this company and am preparing to pull their vendor thread...um..they do have a vendor thread right?

Let me start off by wishing everyone here at the forum and everywhere that had supported us and gave us the best holiday rush that we had

I really didnt see this thread until last night .
I will watch what i say since The big boss mush is at present .

As i was aware i did answer him stating that his missing item will be sent and was sent (not because of this thread but simply because he was a forum member and only forum member gets to combine promo as it says in the promo page:https://www.hookahset.com/Catalog_48.html)
But what happen is he didn't mention he was like it says there, but that is not the issue we sent it anyway but this thread went on and on
of what i read .
Before i explain and i am sorry to make this reply long because i just got the minute to sit back and finally smoke a hookah after the holiday rush which made me work 14 hours day
Last time i was answering emails at 11pm EST
I start with from all hookahset we are sorry to all member that had ,thought ,or received any inconvenience from us.
IainUM : I know what you order i saw the order and called or was an email and explain to you that the basses are out of stock yes they were at the time i didn't give it to you because the had a crack and bubbles not good condition so i canceled the order
You said you called and we said we emailed you we did and remember some post here said it is the holiday rush what ever you think we were busy we were double that not to mentioned the moving from NY to NJ but we had time to email you numerous times(bad costumer service)?

But what ticks me the most i am in charge of the all forum members in the site i try to please everyone and i did i have numerous members here and hundres of order that came from here that did see what i do for them and they did answer and stick up for us (but unfortunate too little did) and i thank them for the bottom of my heart that they understood it was holiday rush.
Bottom line here ,who ever though think or had any issue or thought he didnt get his moneys worth or some thing like that please dont hold back after all this is my job to be here and get what ever you request and need at a fair price .
I know there are some issues with us but as you see they are alot of improvement , But when i see some thing did go wrong i opligies and fix it the most profational way i could , but if i have memebers that do have memebr ship in other fourms whole like to disgrimate other vendors for the other vendor pelusure i really cant help taht memmber and Mush is aware of that .
please remember that hookahset is not here to discriminate , hussel or mislead anyone here or anywhere .

I sent a response to hookahset@gmail.com stating that I could not take the offer of half off because I am broke at the moment(been away at college so not working and holiday shopping drained my reserve funds). I did not mention on here that I never got a response because I figured there was enough steam being blown in this thread. I honestly thought my email went unresponded to because of the holiday rush.
I gave three of the hoses as a gift today(figuring I was stuck with them since I had no response). He was unhappy at first with the color, but tried them out and loved them anyway.
I was upset because they were gifts and nearing the end of my money trails I couldn't get the ones I originally wanted, although I should have had them to start.

In my case, I look at it this way, they are some cheap hoses(that are awesome). You guys messed up. Wishful thinking has me on the path that they will be replaced since I didn't order what I received/didn't get what I ordered. Everything else went fine with the order(bunch of tobacco and coals) and fast shipping(also a call for replacing a flavor that was out of stock). I put this transaction into my three strikes policy I've always kept for any kind of business(with exceptions to really bad service).
