Electronic Hookah Shill

Recommended Posts

Hey Guys,
I saw this new electronic hookah called SPAM! Hookah. I'm new to hookah and wanted to make sure its legit. The hookah cost only $65. I contacted the company and they where helpful in explaining the product. They have a pretty good website. Has anyone else heard of them.

You'll get a good idea of how we feel about e-hookahs here:

Also, that thing looks like the Washington Monument...

Sorry for 2 posts in a row, won't let me edit my old one a second time.

Under the features it mentions a "Safety Trigger" that turns it off after an hour.... seems like that would be pretty annoying. I usually smoke an hour and a half to two hours. I guess you could just turn it back on if you wanted to keep going, but seems like a strange "feature".

It looks different for sure but the light action is kinda of cool. The safety trigger thing could be helpful. Again all you have to do is turn it back on. It seemed to smoke pretty well though and it only cost $65.

I don't find it attractive at all. That music is annoying too. Anyway, I still like the idea of electric hookah. I'll wait till they make better looking ones... and change that annoying music.

I'm not sure I understand the lights. I know its for the "heating" and "cooling" cycles, but is that analogous to (on a regular hookah) the coals' heat during a draw and during a "rest" phase? If so, it seems you would have to time your inhales with the lights for maximum effect...

Like Mustang said, seems like it might be appealing to those who are not as much of hobbyists/enthusiasts as those of us on the forum. If I saw one I'd smoke it just to try it, but I certainly have a long list of other hookah-related things I could spend $65 on.

I really like the music. Its very hypnotic and relaxing. Yes, it seems the heaters mimic the draw and rest cycles of coal. But you don't have to time it. It will always be hot enough to smoke because of the thermostat. I'll at least want to try it. Maybe some lounges already have it.

I didn't listen to the music, but can you at least turn it on and off? I often watch a movie or something while smoking... Not to mention with how often I smoke, no matter how nice the music is, I'm sure I'd tire of it. No off switch would be another strike against it in my book.

pretty decent and affordable..but i like my old school, carpet burning coals and hookah. But that is just me.. the cycling is smart...keep it always hot enough to produce smoke Edited by king_lunchb0x

OK, so he wants to know if it's legit, but says it "seemed to smoke pretty well"?

His Video Link goes to a removed video. How would he have a video if he's looking for info on a hookah he's only heard about. Other hints would indecate this person is connected with this product making this a shill.

Thanks Joytron for the the heads up of the suspicious link.

You all spot em, we'll nail em. :post-5619-1201289386:
