As far as the port-end goes, it's the same type piece as the mouth tip. I'll take more pics when I get a chance.

The cool thing about this is since the end is barbed, it hold the grommet in place making missing grommets a thing of the past (probably not an issue with a home-use hose but definitely an issue at a lounge)

It can be made in any size, but since I've been using the tubing from old Razans, Narbish's, and Nammors, the ones I've made are the same size as those.

One of my business partners has the same gripe so I actually made an adaptor to hod a regular mouthpiece. The only problem with this is that it reduces flow since the openings are smaller than everything else I use on the hose. Still, if that doesn't matter, it can definitely be done.


I'm still looking for a source on the tubing.

Do you think all of the materials are "GRAS" with smoke passing through them?

I haven't run across anything yet suggesting the materials are not "GRAS". In fact, all the washable hoses I've seen (Razan, Nammor, Narbish, etc.) use a piece of much lower grade pvc as their handle. Also, I'm pretty sure some hoses such as the AF Healthy Hose and the NuHose are made from PVC entirely. This suggests to me that it's probably pretty safe.
