Venger
I proposed by editing a movie scene of someone proposing. So we are watching the moving and where the guy says so and so will you marry me I dubbed in her name. she had to rewind it once because she thought she mis-heard it.by then I was on one knee and said you heard it right will you marry me. she said yes and that was 19 years and one seventeen year old later.I guess I did something right. Cp44
I had one of my best friends setup a picnic table at a park. He lite about 50 candles and place 25 of them on each side, covered it with rose peddles, a glass of champagne and two glasses. I asked to go for a walk and we got near the table. I asked her "what the hell is that up there, looks like something is on fire" She was like "holy shit" i said lets check it out. As we came closer, she saw all the candles and started crying like crazy, I thought it was raining or something from all her tears. Got down on one knee and asked her to marry me. Stuie
My Proposal was corny but I liked it. Grabbed a book of love poems. Glued the majority of the pages of the back half of the book together. Then took an exacto knife and cut slits through the pages so I could put the ring in there and shut it. Had to do a notch in the first half of the pages for the diamond part of the ring to fit and close snuggly like new. Marked the page with a ribbon. Wrapped gave it to her and let her open it and told her I marked a poem for her..... TEARS, CRYING, EXCITEMENT, INCOHERENT BABBLING, you know the norm. Book still sits on our bookshelf. Chreees
Very nice, both of you! I'm thinking about doing something sweet like waking up before her and cooking her breakfast, and bring it to her in bed. Have the ring sitting beside the food. She loves it when I cook breakfast in the morning.

Rani
Looks like romance is in the air. Friends of mine also got engaged Christmas Eve. He found a two part ornament, big flashy thing, and hid the ring inside and hung it on the tree. It didn't match the rest of the ornaments and he just waited for her to notice it. When she did and saw it was in two pieces she took it apart to find the ring. Turned around and there he was down on one knee. General hysteria followed with a teary yes. Pretty sure he got lucky under the tree right afterwards too considering they were both blushing to high heavens when they told us about it.
