squidget
I've been noticing more and more glass hookahs. There's high end: http://crownhookahs.com/shop/category_4/www.CrownHookahs.com---Imperial-Glass-Hookah-Series.html?shop_param=cid%3D%26 low end: http://www.hookah-shisha.com/p-6102-Hookah-Ankh.html I was wondering does anyone use one regularly and what they think of it? dizzbizz
There are a couple guys on the forum that bought some from Crown Hookah but I don't know if they left a review. I read a thread on it and they said its smokes effortlessly but they get scared to clean it.

Remove this sentence if it violates any rules.
Only problem with the Meduses is that you can't change out the bowl! Pretty sucky for a pipe that costs that much. Epoch
Those Meduses are preposterous, and fairly cool! That said, I'll never buy one.
agunn1231
i've said it before and i'll say it again. I would buy one only as a decorational piece. if i ever make that much money. and if i live in europe so shipping isn't ridiculous

Travis
for that price i better be floating on air
That'd be pretty impractical, seeing as how the coals would fall off. I don't like burn holes in my air. When I think about buying a hookah, I look for a few things. Functionality, Quality of materials used, Aesthetics, and Price. The Meduse pipes is a joke as far as I'm concerned. Sure they look cool, but I wouldn't spend that much on my kids first car, let alone a hookah I'm going to be afraid to clean. The Hookah-Shisha pipe on the other hand is fairly priced, I guess. But the hose looks pretty damn low, and I don't like getting water in my hose every time I take a pull. So that's out. Now, Crown Hookahs pipes. Looks amazing, I know that the quality is great, And everything works like it should. Price fits the bill in my opinion. The time and patience it takes to create something that intricate, and perfect, is worth every penny that is being asked for it. This may seem biased, but shortly before these came out Santino showed me and a few others pictures of them. Obviously I had questio ifns to ask. He said that they were made of 100% pyrex glass, very thick and durable, and that the one he had made for himself worked exactly like it should. All in all he spoke very highly of him, and since I knew Santino on somewhat of a personal level, I take his opinions seriously, even on the products he sells. So if I were to get one, it'd be one of the pipes Crown Hookahs was offering. From what I hear, more are in the works and are going to be just as nice as the previous versions. Pretender85
As far as the Ankh goes, don't do it. it comes with a couple of cool bowls but the hookah/hose itself is a freaking joke. I returned it within a day..lol. The hose is so tiny you feel like you have asthma trying to use it...oh and not even going there about how it was so lightweight that moving the hose around swivels/knocks the hookah down. And, as far as the Crown hookahs go, I have the Gamma one from that first batch that Santino/Poncho whipped up(I think it was just one of each..), and the thing is freaking awesome. I also have had no problems cleaning it either..quite durable glass. I wouldn't necessarily use the stem as a beatstick of any kind, but it's survived more than a few accidental bumps and knocks in the sink. Nice perk is it's all borosilicate glass(or w/e it's called) so coals/hot water don't crack it. I just got lazy the last few months and haven't written a review heh.. funkymonkey
In Germany there is a manufacturer who specialized on glass hookahs. Also on bowls and hoses and his brand (EDITED) is very famous in Germany. The price for the hookahs is much lower than here in the USA. You can get a very good glass hookah for about 150 € here a link: EDITED Edited December 26, 2010 by INCUBUSRATM Link to site that sells NHT stuff. no longer welcome
I'm not sure how I feel about these. The only one I have seen in person is the AF model that should be in the US very soon. If it's you r thing you'll like it. It comes with a travel case that is real sturdy. I'm not sure if I would use one, but at the same time I should have more of an open mind about things. I have been discrediting alot of new products that hit the market. As a personal hookah enthusiast I have been less than impressed, and that affects my business. Some reviews from you guys should help.
