Those Of You With An Elnas

Recommended Posts

it seems that those that have elnas hookahs are really happy, however i want to ask a couple of questions, do you like the no purge feature, or does it feel like you are missing something? also, is it hollow brass or solid? i ahve tried to contact them a couple of times but really want to see one in person.

Elmas you mean? Haha. I love mine. They are solid brass. I mean SOLID. Heavier than any of my Syrians by far. No purge isnt an issue if you pack bowls right. :)

I know Kylesd is really interested in getting one, but I am not sure if he is going to. I cant think of any socal guys that might have one for you to check out.

Maybe I should do a video review finally. I have been meaning to for months.

Plus, they are beautiful. The engravings are unmatched. The glass is amazing too if you can get the right vase. This one in particular weighs more than most of the stems I own.

The stems are insanely solid and super heavy, and as Mitch said, no purge makes no difference if you pack right and manage your coals right. Also the hoses are a thing to behold, they make holding a Narbish seem like clutching on a straw

Absolutely agreed. I'm itchin' to try the Elmas since they've been getting so much praise.

Side note - having a purge would be nice, but not required. Edited by Epoch

Hi @all, Hi @John,

this is my first post BTW ;) .
I am no native speaker, so forgive me grammar mistakes etc...

I am currently in Izmir and I bought a Elmas Nargile Papatya (which is the most expensive one) an another Hookah from Ilhan Nargile.

Firstly, they are not completly massive!
They would be to heavy to carry around.

If you are patient I will make reviews about both Nargiles. But first I need to get back home and learn how to edit videos

Also I have lots of video footage from Izmir. You guys could be interested in a interview with one of the owners of Ilhan Nargile, or a video on how to prepare Tömbeki (traditional tobacco) and some pictures of Hookahs and shops.

Greetings from Izmir

Finally someone that has an Elmas thats not the 628. Everyone keeps buying the same one, and because of that we haven't been able to see good pictures of any other model.

That thing looks amazing by the way. Love the tray and vase especially.

TwoApplesPlease, Hookah-Burdar, and Chinamon have Model 639s....if you dig up Chinamon's thread he's got a lot of pics.

The Papatya just happens to be insanely expensive, and the 628 the cheapest proper one (vs the itty bitty cheesy ones) they make, as well as one of the nicest.

Also, mods, can we get the thread title changed to Elmas with an M please?
