Shisha Revolution
Hey everyone! Not posting the image here because it's kind of huge, but heres the link: (Dial-Up warning)http://digitalroundabout.net/hp/HookahNight.jpg I'm in love with the Hookah in the right hand side of that picture. My friend has a similar one he once bought from a shisha cafe in Manchester, which he's christened 'Shakira'. But I have no idea where I could buy a pipe like that one in the UK... I find KM pipes, I find Mya, Aladdin and all sorts that everyone seems to have, but this pipe is taller and features that distinctive vase shape. Anyone have any links? Chreees
That's a Syrian pipe, maybe a Nour or Nawras. Not easy to find these days here in the US. Not sure about the UK. Here's a vendor here in the States that had some (most are out of stock now, but some are still available, the Nours): http://hookahjohn.com/Quality-SYRIAN-Hookahs_c22.htm

Shisha Revolution
Haha yess! Finally a vendor! I've been looking for about a week now, with no luck at all! Cheers dude! And I know, gorgeous isn't it? I love the white hose as well. In fact, the whole set up in that picture looks like my idea of a sick night in
Chreees
The dual colors of the shank reminds me of the Al Fakher Solid hookahs, which were made by Nawras. As I'm to understand, and this may help you in your search, Nawras makes them, Nour exports them. So some are called Nour, some Nawras, but they're basically the same hookahs, from what I'm to understand.
Shisha Revolution
Ahhh nice, cheers dude! Looks like its out of stock now, but I have a few leads at least If worst comes to worst, I'm going to have to go around cafe's in Manchester and London, asking to buy pipes

dizzbizz
Yeah that looks a lot like the AF small solid pipe, like Incub said. http://www.alfakhero...olid_Hookah.htm Such a nice hookah.
kmccoy90
The vase looks like something off the Hookah Hookah website.
Yeah, Hookah Hookah get's the pipes they sell from Sahara Smoke. Although, The vases they sell are pretty damn good quality. Thick glass, Great craftsmanship. Ive owned a few over the years to be honest, and always liked them. As far as the pipe goes, Im going to agree with Jess, and say it looks like an older style AF pipe. The mutli-metal look is something I've always liked, even though lately they've been lacking somewhat. Great pipe man!
Genie
I don't know what the story is on that photo but is someone using the hookah's ash tray on a gas stove to light coals? Hmmm....

Hmmm....
I've noticed that too. Wouldn't it do damage to the tray over time? But anyway, it's definitely a nice hookah. It looks like an Al Nawras. I'm not too fond of the base shape though...kinda bugs me for reasons I don't understand.
Like I said, I don't know the story on the photo but I suspect that whoever shot it knows a thing or two about photography and may have done that with the ashtray as a one time thing for the photo. A tray would buckle quickly on a gas stove like that. I'm not positive, but I actually wondered if that was maybe a drip tray from a stove and not a hookah ash tray at all. Edit: On second glance, a drip tray is EXACTLY what that is. Hmm!!!!! Edited December 28, 2010 by Genie
joytron
more importantly, check out the syrian bird tongs. I dont think they have ever been used.

Shisha Revolution
If its actually useful, the tray would make a sick addition to my shisha set up And the bird tongs are sexy. I need to source this stuff!!!
Genie
I think I'll look around for a junked stove and steal a drip tray from it and see how it holds up on my gas stove. It would be really handy to light coals in a tray like this instead of the way I usually do it.
Shisha Revolution
Nice. At the moment, I'm smoking very far away from the kitchen So I light my wood coals with a portable gas stove and a blowtorch lol

CKJazz
You can get those bird tongs from hookah john. Mine came with my nour, but I think he sells them on their own for around 10$. Depending on what you already have for tongs might be worth it. They're pretty sturdy and have a good grip (on coals) Not to mention that they look great! Chreees
I'd like to note that I used to own some bird tongs and the locking mechanism on them made them close on me all the time. It was annoying.
joytron
yeah I broke the lock on both my sets, but other than that they have been really resilient. Prefer them over anything else, although for $10 I dont think I would ever get more.
