Hellaslow
A buddy of mine bought this hookah a few years ago and we have smoked the shit out of it... BUT... i think its a hybrid because the stem is a Al Fakher but the base i've never seen before... pics: _thanks_
joytron
I really dont think its an AF, does it have any marking that would name it as such? The Syrian company that imports Al fakher hookahs also imports many other syrian pipes so it is probably one of those. (anyone correct me if i am wrong here)
Chreees
Never seen an Al Fakher like that before, but it's definitely Syrian.
Yep thats definately a syrian i can tell just by the vase, the stem and especially hose port and purge valve, actually the hose port is one of the better ones used than the norm.. either way thats a great looking hookah

Chreees
it says al fakher on the top of the stem under the the top tray
Pic? Al Fakher hookahs were made by Al Nawras, by the way. Here are AF's hookahs that we've all seen before: Light models: http://alfakher.com/other_products_4.htm Solid models: http://alfakher.com/other_products_5.htm AF vases: http://alfakher.com/other_products_6.htm It must be an AF hookah if it has AF markings on it. I definitely has an AF feel to it with the way it's designed. Where did your buddy buy this from a few years back? It may just be a really old AF model that I've never seen before. joytron
Do you mean the second ash tray has Al Fakher markings? It definitely looks like one but the tray should not determine the whole hookah.
You do know that the top piece where the bowl sits unscrews so you can take that top tray off, right? Someone could have just put those trays on there.
Um... what? We're talking about cars now? Look, what I'm saying is someone could've taken a regular Syrian pipe and decided, "Oh hey, wonder if these AF trays will fit... oh look, they do, cool. I'mma sell it like this." Bam, there you go. That would explain why it doesn't look like any AF hookah we've seen before. To put things in perspective, you can find the ugliest piece of shit hookah on eBay with a Mya tray thrown on it, so the seller says it's a Mya and that it's quality, when really it is not. EDIT: Another option could be whoever the manufacturer of the hookah is decided to just use the AF trays... who knows. Or it could be a fake. Or a prototype! I think we will truly never know...
