Iamhated
I have a KM hookah, ive smoked a lot on mya hookahs and they smoke good as well, just wondering if there are any better hookah brands?
dizzbizz
Elma's has been getting a lot of talk around here. But Mya and KM are the two most popular.
thehelios
This name has to be dropped down every now and then so the hope never dies! Meduse Hookahs. http://www.medusedesign.com/index.php/about-us
TheyCallMeDave
Besides Khalil Mamoon and Mya, some other brands worth mentioning are: - Al Fakher Syrian pipes - Nawras and nour syrian hookahs are both owned by members on this forum. - Temsah solid brass Egyptian pipes - Elmas Turkish pipes - Many Egyptian pipes are made similarly, and will most likely smoke well. - Nammor is another Egyptian pipe people seem to trust. - Magdy Zidan is a namebrand Egyptian competitor, often found in hookah lounges. I think that's all for me.
Epoch
Nammor hookahs are a favorite of mine. Kind of the bastard child of Khalil Mamoon and Magdy Zidan. Great, open draw.

Hassouni
My exception to my dislike-and-distrust-everything-from-Egypt rule is Temsaah, I think they're the best value and by far the nicest pipes you can get online easily. They're so much more elegant than KMs too
gunsboy
#1 Smoking Hookah is a Gozza. (Stem is wood and base is metal, hose is made of bamboo wood, Egyptian Origin) I have two and I have KMs and MYAs and many other hookahs. I have never got better taste and airflow from anything but those Gozzas.

Well if one of the girls comes with it I might consider
Haha I've been thinking the same thing for years now. Honestly I wouldn't mind having one of those, if the price was a bit more reasonable. Can't justify spending a down payment on a car's worth for a pipe. On topic: Recently I've been going to an unbranded random egyptian that my dad bought me 4-5 years ago. It's designed similar to a KM Amer, (most egyptian pipes look the same to me anyways) and it smokes great! These days name brand is purely preference for the most part. , Although all the recommendations made are great choices, I'd just go by what catches my eye nowadays..... Iamhated
thanks for dropping all those names, just wondering are there specific advantages to certain ones or are they all just down to personal preference?
nars2k
The advantages to the different hookahs people mentioned mostly have to do with quality and preference. Most KMs and MYAs are more durable and better built than some other brands which makes the price worth it. All brands have a variety of styles, so after narrowing it down to the good hookahs just choose the model that fits your preference.
Erm. The Unit 3.0 looks like a very painful sex toy. Or perhaps a componant to a device Doc Brown would have created running on Jiggawatts of power. I've tried and tried, but I just can't get into the modern hookah scene. I hate pipes that look like that. Most modern style I will ever like or purchase is a Mya, but even then, I'd choose a brass hookah of that any day. Maybe it's just me, and I'm sure there is a HUGE following of hookah lovers who are into hookahs like that, but they just make me want to not smoke hookah. Lol. UltimateHookah
"best" is too vaugue, or it can be summed up to an opinion. For me I like KM's best, but I don't think that everyone would agree. MYA has some great looking hookahs but they aren't my style.
