Digi
I've been smoking hookah regularly (i have a hookah party every friday night) for about 8 months now, and I noticed all the different charcoals that you can use. My question is has anyone used like "real" charcoal for grilling? or charcoal for grilling thats carbonized wood? what would the adverse affects be to using these? i mean i realize that you would have to break it in half or whatever, but it would certainly be a little cheaper right? just looking for some feedback.Digi

Scheetz
i just went and searched for exactly how your body would take CO and this is what it said The overall effect on the human consciousness is rather like that of alcohol--euphoria, like being pleasantly drunk, followed by unconsciousness and, if it goes too far...death from oxygen starvation of the brain. so again Dead Face

Hookahnoob
I think the sheshia would taise better with Hickory or apple chips added to the coals.
theoneandonly
I just think that there is a reason why there are coals specifcally made for hookah...just think about it
Lynear
Well at least you could use lighter fluid... nothing worse than having to use your stove and then it catches on fire burning down your house...
Naqsh
I wouldn't recommend it! I only use Rather use lime-coal, olive-coal or even better: Cococha (coconut coal). These coal types are explicitaly made for usage in Hookah. Naqsh "You posess only which cannot be lost in shipwreck".
