Visit To The Doctor

My grandma ate fried meat (including fatback) and vegetables cooked with fat meat for flavoring her whole life, and dipped Scotch snuff 'till the day she died. She died at 88 earlier this year. Hell, most of the old folks in my family on my dad's smoked or chewed or both, and most of them lived to be to 70 or 80 something. I still believe that genetics plays a big role in risk factors for various diseases, although outside factors can and do have a role. Some folks are more predisposed to certain ailments.I do loves me some fatback if it's cooked right. (Sorry, that was my inner redneck talking.)

I'd rather be happy when I'm younger than be fresh as a daisy when im 90. The younger years of Your life are the best part of life. I just figure, dont become an addict and start smoking cigarettes.  I think my hookah smoking will slow down as my life becomes more busy and I get older. In comparison to a chain smoking cigarette smoker who will only quit when its in between life and death for that individual, and even then they will be sort of reluctant. My thoughts are just to do what makes you happy and dont worry too much about death, everyone is gonna die at some point, even that damn doctor....lol
