Chreees
I used to play a game called Elves, Wizards and Giants. It was a variation of Tag. Basically someone gets to be the Giant, and they chase the Elves. The Wizard can un freeze the Elves. I don't remember how the Giant and Wizard would interact, maybe you could incorporate something?
Now this I may be able to do something with... thanks!
you didnt like my game, chris?
I loved it, but it won't work with my class. noodle

There's something called "Spud" I played in Boy Scouts. Equipment required is something like a couple of socks tied into a ball. This is the spud. In Scouts we used a neckerchief tied into a ball. Everyone numbers off and someone is chosen as IT. IT takes the spud and everyone else clusters around. IT throws the spud into the air and yells out a number. The person who has that number must then wait until the spud falls to the ground, pick it up, then yell "SPUD!". Meanwhile everyone else runs away. When "SPUD!" is yelled, everyone instantly freezes. IT must then throw the spud at someone. The target may duck or sway, but otherwise may not pick his or her feet up off the ground. If hit, the target becomes the new IT and the previous IT goes back into the game. Fouls get you put OUT. Fouls are when someone picks up a foot, doesn't let the spud touch the ground before taking it, missing a throw, calling your number, or calling the number of someone already put OUT.
I like this! I think I'm going to use it... How to add characterization to it, though? Also, how are numbers assigned?
Line up and count off. I forgot something. You are allowed to pick one foot up and pivot on the other foot. Pick up one and then the other gets you fouled out. This allows you to dodge a shot aimed at your foot. nate
Any easy one to play is to get any storybook that you might be using, or any picture for that matter and play a memory game with it. Good for varying levels and is get for kids. Give them 10 seconds to memorize the picture and then ask them a question. Ideally, have the students asking questions as well. Another great game for varying levels is a truth/lie game. Children are asked questions and have a choice of either telling the truth or lying for their answer. The other students have to guess if the answer was a lie or a truth. Give one point for correct answers. If you need any more instructions/ideas, give me a shout.
