a cliche affair
Hey y'all, haven't been on this forum for while or smoked in quite some time, I sure do miss it. I joined the US Navy 5 months ago and have been busy as hell with training. Heading to my new permanent duty station in a few weeks in Norfolk, VA. Really looking forward to it and also looking to get back into the hobby. Gunna be picking up a KM (probably a trimetal), hose, phunnel etc. I used to smoke a lot of tang lucid and nak, both og and mizo. I love lucid tang, looking at getting into og. My questions are: 1. Can anyone from VA comment on how well tang acclimated there? 2. Probably going to pick up 2 kilos to start. Horchata, orange soda and melon blend are for sure's, but what else would y'all recommend? I don't like mint or kashmir, and don't mind floral flavors if they're subtle.

I disappeared for a while (got into homebrewing and while I still smoked daily I got tired of dealing with the same noob questions and drama.) but im posting more now as well. Skoozle
Im in Northern Va (Woodbridge) and I didn't have any luck with Tang up here in the late spring early summer, but I was acclimating in my garage where I was smoking at the time. You may have better results if you acclimate in your house where I imagine the temp and humidity would be more stable. Good luck!

a cliche affair
Thanks for the replies guys, good to see you're back cotsi. I'll definitely be acclimating indoors. I think I may end up just getting a 250g or two to see if it'll even acclimate properly.

Here in TN I had so much trouble I just gave up on Noir. I only buy Lucid, but am always open to trading for Noir. Hopefully the Hookah Gods will bless you and you'll be able to get Noir acclimated no problem. EDIT: Also, if you do not succeed, wait a while and try when the weather changes or even until a different season. For some people, Noir will only acclimate during certain parts of the year when the weather is the nicest and most consistent. EDIT x2: Oh, and some of my favorite flavors would have to be Static Starlight, Indian Summer, K-Cherry, Peach Iced Tea, Mint (any variety), Cocoa, Horchata, and a few others I can't remember right now. My list is kinda long, haha.
a cliche affair
Thanks for the reply incu. It'll definitely be a trial process to get tang acclimated. But if not, lucid smokes like a champ too. (my avatar pic is a cloud of lucid tasty peach) Looks like Eric is slowly putting out more lucid flavors too which is good to see.
