Lighting: I put 2 on my electric stove as I start to prepare my hookah. flip it about halfway through. Total time: 7-10 minOdor: none that I noticedTaste: nothing at allDuration: each one is about 1 hourPlacement: 2 on opposite ends of a phunnelAsh: very easy to ash and put out good heat all the way to the endOverall Rating 10/10. dafunk5446
Inhale coals from Hookah CompanyShape- 27 coals per box (strange), 2 coals per block, scored for ease of breaking apart, once broken they are rectangular in shape. Aprox. 1.25" long and 3/4" wide by .5" thickLighting: Fairly quick about 5 mins maxOdor: almost nothingTaste: nothingDuration: 45 mins to an hourAsh: Best ash I have seen yet, sticks to the coal like no other.Overall Rating 10/10. I really like these coals. I also cut them in half after breaking. I use the four chunks on a small phunnel with tangiers and never touch them, the ash sticks to them that well. Perfect amount of heat (at least in my climate), only downside is they are fairly expensive 3.95 per box.
