thecult
Al-Amir CoalsSize: 37mm x 16mm if i remember right (they are big coals)Lighting: Ridiculous fast, the slightest flame near it and its off sparks giving lots of smoke and smell (best near an open window), usually leave it for a min after sparking to heat through, (or just hold it to a fan for a bit)Smell: Lots of smell when lighting, its not a bad smell but can be overpowering in a small roomTaste: I use it with AF and no charcoal taste at all, probally because the coal isnt super hot but more than hot enough for AFAsh: No ash whatsoever, coal stays and one tablet even when burnt all the way through , will only crumble if a resonable amount of pressure is placed on it. (eg its fine to pick up when cold and unless you hold it tighly it wont fall apart)Time : about 45 mins-1 hour, temp usually tales off a bit after 40 mins Overall 9/10 , could do with burning a bit hotter and the temp not dipping at the end but apart from that 100 perfect my fav coal, only problem is they are imppossiable to find (uk probally impossiable to find in america too) . When i do find them they are dirt cheap use to get them for £3 (~$6) for 80 (the place is shut for a few weeks for redoing ) Really dont understand why are so cheap because all the other cheap coals i have used suck.I have tired my fair share of coals (didnt like 3kings too much dust before i have even lit anything) and these just win hands down. Only link i can find for them at the moment is http://www.svetdymek.cz/product_info.php/c...266/language/enLot more expensive than i usually pay but when the site iget them from is up i shall post the link.Anyone else used these coals ? because i cant find any other reviews anywhere.http://www.alibaba.com/catalog/10970238/Al_amir_Coal.html <- alibaba link is another one i found if anyone buys in huge bulk
