Leak On My New Km... Best Way To Fix It?

Recommended Posts

The title pretty much says it all. There is a very slight leak on my new KM halzone, on the underside of the tray holder. The leak isn't big enough that it will really make a noticeable difference when smoking, but I don't want any leaks at all. From the looks of it, the issue is just poor welding. What is the best way to go about fixing it, if possible?

If it's on a spot weld you should be able to get some JB weld or similar product at a hardware store and use it to patch up the weld.

I got it from HookahJohn. I don't really want to return it due to the hassle, the size of the leak (I really had to blow hard through the pipe to find it), and if its an easy fix there is no reason not to.

Well after exchanging a few emails I gave him a call and he had me check the ports themselves and just the down stem for leaks, there were none so we figured it should smoke fine. We talked about how a exchange would work out, but in the end he gave me the option to send it back for a different one, or some store credit ($30) because I received hookah that wasn't "perfect". I took the credit rather dealing with shipping and the hassle it would cause.

He responded to my first email within minutes and his offer was very generous IMO, and his main concern was my satisfaction.
