Help Identifying Hookah

Recommended Posts

Hey,

Found this at a Middle Eastern store near Rutgers, NJ. Seems to be smoking pretty well, but I was curious as to its origin. Anyone have any idea which brand it may be, or where it's made?

That is difficult, it is like a crossbreed between a random egyptian and a temsaah. I am sure there are countless shisha pipe producers in the Middle East, and very few we get here that are brand names. It is a great looking pipe and hopefully it smokes well and lasts for years to come, because in the end that is all that matters.

I'm with Joytron on this one. Really hard to tell. Any unusual graphics on it that we can't see from this picture? If so we might have more information if we see them.

Here's a picture of the part that sits below the tray. (Sorry for the horrible quality of the phone pic :P)

As far as I can see, it reads "Aulad Sarhan", although my Arabic is very rusty. Sound familiar to anyone?

The hose port looks like it may have a brass core. Is it solid or feel hollow?

It feels solid. So does that mean it does have a brass core?
