I just ordered a Crown Micro Funnel from Santino... cant wait to try out the new tangiers noir flavors with this bowl..

claytronmeans, are you using cocos? two seems like a lot for such a small bowl... how tight are you packing your tangiers?

It was lucid, and packed fairly tightly. I was using CH Ql's, edged very far out. I haven't tried Coco's on it yet, but will probably be doing that tonight, and I will let you know how it goes.

Has anyone bought one of their B-Grade bowls? Wondering if I should pick one up since they're so cheap, or just shell out the extra 10 bucks for the regular line. I want both a micro phunnel and a micro classic...I've been planning on ordering forever, but haven't had a chance to figure it out and haven't really smoked much either lately but want to pick them up sometime over the next week or so. Thanks.

No but I have gotten one that had missed QC and I gotta say don't bother it was all lopsided and the coals would always fall over and off. Santino did fix that for me asap. good guy.

Smoked Cactus Fruit out of the Micro Funnel yesterday and it lasted almost a full two rounds of coconara's (hour and a half each round) before it started tasted bad.

Nice, full flavor the whole time? How did you pack it? did you use the foil test? Also, how much coal and how was the heat management?

Flavor died down around the 3/4 mark on the second round, so 2 hours, 45 minutes into the bowl. 2 coals for both rounds.

Packed as tightly as possible, using my palm and foil to pack all around.

Start with the coals edged out, and move them in as the coals get smaller/as you feel you need more heat. Then just move them around like you normally would on a phunnel.
