Halon
Suppose something catastrophic happens. Like, say, Fumari stops making their Watermelon or Tropical Punch. And I love it so much I wanna have some to smoke for a long time. Could I use my vacuum sealer (I use it a lot during hunting season to package meat) to seal up packets of shisha and smoke them years later? There wouldn't be any air in the package, so I don't see why it wouldn't work. Just a thought. TYLER
nuschultz
I think you might be ok, for two reasons1) There is no air and2) Tobacco has preservatives, usually tar or niccotine.Tangiers might be able to give us some more insight on this matter. ioannisds
Those vacuum sealers kick ass. I don't own one, but every time I see one at the local Costco I get THIS CLOSE to picking one up. I just don't know what I would seal... Family pets? Last night's cheesesteak to eat next year? Mother-in-law? I think it would probably work fantastic for hookah tobacco. nuschultz
For his mother-in-law or for the shisha
djnick
i believe that shisha is good for like 2 years afters its production, so even without a vaccum seal as long as its sealed tight and stored in proper temp should be fine
Bleeding_Heart1
if i keep shisha for over 9 monthes, i didnt like it. Ill give it away.
Sonthert
Should seal OK, I can't speak for all tobacco brands, some of them use some pretty weird ways of flavoring. There was a time, when there was no "Best if used by date" on tobacco. I think its silly, most tobacco will last long beyond that.
