AKA
Sometimes my sessions are good and other times it irritates the hell out my bronchioles, feels itchy inside. Usually this happens when the smoke dies down. Instead of being thick and creamy its wispy. Whats going on?
The Jester
Perhaps you overheated or even burned the whole tobacco I got unpleasant smoke two days ago and when I checked the tobacco It was pitch black xD and maybe the tobacco dryed so you arent getting good sessions people suggest adding honey to the shisha to revive it

[/quote] I'm with the Jester's first suggestion... either too much heat, or coals left in one place for too long causing a degree of scorching. Or, contrary to the foregoing, smoke also gets thinner as your coals shrink and less of the bowl is getting heated, or as your coals get covered in ash, which insulates a lot of the heat. You can end up scorching a small part of the bowl and sucking fresh air through the rest. Try picking the coals off, knock the ash off em in your tray, purge the pipe and replace the coals on another part of the foil. Some users report good results from adding a windcover after 30-40 minutes, indoors included. Don't have one, haven't tried it, but if this happens as coals are dying down, maybe worth a thought. I'm less keen on blaming the tobacco or adding anything to it, unless it's as old as the hills. If it smokes well when you have enough of it smoking at the right temperature, then the tobacco is fine and the question becomes how to get the most of it without scorching. The answers may (and may not) include: less coal, less coal with windcover, more active heat management, air gap between foil and shisha, smaller or fewer holes in foil, double thickness of foil, flavour-retaining bowl, different coals, different shisha. Have fun experimenting :-)

Very effective tool for adding heat. For me, when my coals get small, the windcover gets it right back into the zone; good little thing to have, IMO. Using it at the wrong time can result in a disastrously harsh lungful of smoke though.
