DizzyGuy
Ok, I've been eyeing the Stargate from Taqseem for awhile... and I have a few questions.1.) How does it smoke?2.) Is the base glass or acrylic?3.) Does it keep up pretty well over time or is it gonna have to be replaced regularly?4.) Is it easy to clean?5.) Does any one know of how I can get a black nickle 25" Stargate... I might settle for a 32" if it smokes well and what not... I just figure that 25" would be more managable.Anyways, thanks for any help I get... if everything goes well, there might be a 34" Single hose Social Smoke Aurora on sale soon for cheap
yashman19
I've had the 25" black nickel single hose for a couple years now, so I'll try and field some questions. 1) Smokes like a champ. Don't be fooled by the small capacity of the base. Smooth like buttah 2) Neither. Plexiglass. 3) Will keep up for years, but you must be gentle with it. The piece itself is a rock. For its size, it weighs more than my 36" egyptian. But you must be gentle when screwing your base onto the stem. I was recklece and wasn't careful when i was screwing/unscrewing the base, and I wore down the threads after about 6 months... But Samir is great to deal with, and set me up with a new base. Now I'm super gentle with it, and its holding up perfectly. 4. Super easy to clean due to many screw off points. The ribbed stem unscrews into two sections, the tray screws off, and the base is screw off, so it breaks down into small, more managable sections. This is also a bonus if you wan't to transport it. 5) If you want the black nickel in 25" size, should probably just contact Samir through his email: sales@taqseem.com . Now don't quote me on this, but I believe in the past Samir was including a samsonite case made for these Stargates, which would be pretty sweet. A lot of sites charge extra for them, especiallly such good quality ones, but I THINK Samir is throwing it in. Like I said, don't get mad if he isn't any longer. This was a while ago. If you have any more questions, I'll be happy to answer them, if I can

To be sure search for it.

TaqseemHookahs
Hi Guys, Yashman19 is right. we give a FREE hard case with all of our stargates. The hard case comes with a front tag that says "Stargate" . this is away to tell that you got our original Stargate and not a replica that some of the otehr sites sale. Thanks,
MrGuy
I love the look of taqseem hookahs, especially the modern looking ones (e.g. stargate.) some of them remind me of the MYA mini-orb (acrylic.) But taqseem have the look MYA wanted with the orb but couldn't quite get right.

gunsboy
I just recieved my Stargate Rotator (Glow in the Dark) 1.) How does it smoke?Smokes very nice, I have smoked 4 times, very smooth, no obstruction. One thing that I noticed is that when I use the release valve the little metal ball does not fall back into place right away, after a good pull it does, it is nothing but I am a little picky sometimes.2.) Is the base glass or acrylic? If looks like glass to me.3.) Does it keep up pretty well over time or is it gonna have to be replaced regularly? No idea, I just got it.4.) Is it easy to clean?Very easy to clean. Just don't screw the prts very tightly so removing them is easier.5.) Does any one know of how I can get a black nickle 25" Stargate... I might settle for a 32" if it smokes well and what not... I just figure that 25" would be more managable.I tried smoking using the full length, but it was kind of harder to pull. It was alot smoother and more enjoyable when I removed one of the two stem parts. My notes:- It looks awsome. It has a "WOW" factor about it and it is made from very nice durable materials.- Water level management was a little bit of a hasstle to get right but it is good now.- Due to it being a rotator hookah and it is a very heavy one in weight, it tilts left and right when smoking. It looks scary at first but it is not too bad, just slightly more than my egyptian hookah.- The plate under the bowl needs to be larger. But this is the problem with every hookah on earth. THEY NEVER MAKE THEM BIG ENOUGH. You smoke shisha to relax and enjoy some peace time, it is not cool to be worried that if the coal falls down it will burn your carpet and then lose your deposit money. - The hose looks a little on the rough side but it is very nice and very smooth. Still has that new/plastic taste but I am sure it will go away soon.- The bowl came broken but Taqseem offered to send one right away. It looks like a nice big bowl.- I owned about 5-6 hookah and this ranked #1 overall.- It looks really nice when it glows in the dark but the glow is so fade that you need to sit in total darkness to get a good glow. Using black light will be my next attempt to get it to glow.- I love the see through glass vase. It looks so nice when you smoke, it is a whole new level of fun with the hookah. My RatingLooks: 10/10Smoking: 9 /10Cleaning: 10/10Setup: 6 /10Hose: 6 /10Bowl: 10/10Plate: 3 /10Overall rating: 8/
