Interesting Discovery!

Recommended Posts

I find that while playing guitar and smoking out of a hookah, pulling on the hose too hard causes the hookah to fall over and burn the carpet! Now, this in and of itself might not be TOO surprising! But wait! There's more!

I find that the smell of the burning carpet, can actually make your hookah session turn out pretty terrible! So for all of you seasoned vets who don't know... Try not to knock over your hookah, and if you do, make sure you have a windscreen to prevent the charcoal from scaring the floor!

On a side note, with these 3 Kings QLs [I know, fuck QLs, lol]... I've managed to come quite a long way towards perfecting my heat management. Here's a pic of my first pull on my pumpkin.

Or, as INCUBUSRATM mentions in the beginner's guide, buy a cheap rug. It's cheaper to replace than carpet... But, I prefer to treat this as excuse for a newer, longer, better hose. After all, if the hose had been 6 and a half feet of Nammor, it wouldn't have happened, would it? :-)

For the record, I didn't come up with that specific suggestion, another mod did. I did a good bit of the guide, but other mods helped out as well. I put all the info together and posted the posts so it'd look all clean. :) But yes, the rug idea is great!

This has inspired me to post something to the last post of that beginner's guide...

i have dealt with this one many times. What sucks is my room has shag carpeting (the house is from the 60's so dont say anything) so it can be hard to pick up when your tongs get stuck on the carpets....
