Loumeer
Hey I have this problem in my room that is making me go crazy. I have fruit flies all over just flying around in my room and they are pissing me off. I think they are staying around becuase of my shisha in air tight containers. What is the best method of getting rid of these buggers?--Amichai Israeli
The Dude Abides
Empty your trash! Clean your room! Clean the gunk out of your hookah! They're eating and procreating thanks to some source of fermented goop, and it probably isn't your shisha if it in air tight containers.

If you really need help gettin rid of them, do what Abides said and also go to the store and buy some "flypaper". It is a sticky mat that has an attractant on it and all the flies will end up sticking to it.
Joseph
LOL, I study Drosophila (Fruit fly) genetics. They are not attracted by shisha. Also, they find fruit by smell. If your shisha is in an airtight container, how could they possibly be attacted by it? Just remove any old food from the house and they will go. Sonthert
Yeah, I get some hovering around my soda machine at the store, but they are never found around the tobacco. Clean everything...they also don;t like bleach. Just so everybody knows, bleach reacts negatively with glycerine to form chlorine gas, which is poisonous and corrosive. Obnoixous odors like cleaning products will be absorbed into the tobacco, so keep your containers sealed when cleaning!
Skimo
or just buy a gas mask and get smoke bombs, might not work but would be fun haha
