rahl071
the bowls that come with it are both solid. good to learn with. might wanna get a SS hemi. but the standard mya's are good bowls, and will last a while. There are a lot of others we can recommend, but they're a lot more expensive. If you want those too, shoot me a pm or just request it on here. Chreees
My favorite bowls- Tangiers small phunnel: good to Tangiers (obviously) and other wetter shishas. Standard Egyptian: much better than the mod or Mya bowls. Good for just about anything. Crown classic: good for anything. Unique design allows for good airflow without juices dripping down. Crown micro phunnel: same as tang phunnel, except a shisha super-saver and good for short, one-hour smokes. That's what I can recommend. I was never a fan of the Mya bowls, but they do work. Arcane
i think the vortex is inefficient and poorly designed, however a lot of people like them. i'd suggest getting a standard brown clay egyptian...it shouldn't cost more than 5 bucks. Chreees
He'll I can get an Egyptian bowl for a buck at my local Middle Eastern shop. OP: If you want, I can pick one up for you sometime and ship it to you.

ilikemyusername
The standard mya bowls are a great starter bowl, hell I still use mine from time to time. They're easy to pack, dont require too many coals and distribute heat nicely. Great bowl to learn on, theres not a learning curve like other bowls, just pack and play! king_lunchb0x
depending on your smoke sessions..if u smoke maybe 1 round of coals buy a mini Egyptian style..they need very little tobacco and packing experience. But good idea sticking to the bowls you own..You can always buy new bowls later
