To make damn sure I sell something I set the starting bid at that lowest amount I'm willing to take, or what I'm comfortable selling it for. Then the buy it now is set a little higher than that to try and persuade someone to just buy it so I don't have to wait around so long, haha. I would advise against eBay now, though. It used to be great for selling items, but now they rape you in selling fees. Trust me, you'll be so furious after you sell an item. You won't understand how they can take so much out of your money, but they can, and they will. It got to the point that I said enough was enough. Now I rely on Craigslist and the forums. eBay just isn't worth it anymore.

Keep in mind you are selling used hookahs, your price should reflect that. Why would you buy a used pipe from a member of a forum, when you can get a brand new one from a company that regularly sells pipes for $10 more. Keep in mind you also have a very limited quantity and low traffic, so you have to be patient and if you are in a rush your priced should be adjusted accordingly.

Selling on ebay sucks now. They've changed the rules over the years such that the payer can easily and legally scam the buyer, and ebay fees and MF fees have gone up quite a lot. The one thing I ever sold on there got knocked down 10-15% just in fees, between listing fees, fees to have pics, selling fees, MF fees....

I'd do Craigslist if I were you, and only use ebay as a last resort
