I'm looking for an small and compact air cleaner or air purifier that will get rid of the smell, during my hookah sessions. I have an medium budget, 20-60 dollars, but the unit has to be relatively small and so I can hide it, or put it in the closet.
peaceman27
if you're using a hookah right than it shouldn't leave that noticeable of a smell, and i don't know anything that can combat cigarette smoke...

kcK
2 Words: Ozone Generator. Back when I was a medical nht patient, I grew nht and the best way to combat the cultivation scent of nht was, an ozone generator. Your best solution: Cut out ciggs all together and just use stronger shishas. Like mixing your favorite flavors with something like.. I dunno... Zaghloul? Good luck. kmccoy90
There's a smoke neutralizing candle. I don't remember the brand off the top of my head, but the local cigar shop uses them. They work really well. Fragrances still linger (like the smell of shisha) but it gets rid of the burning smell left by combustion.
mushrat
ya incense, open windows, or Ozium. http://www.walgreens.com/store/c/ozium-original-glycol-ized-air-sanitizer/ID=prod3854-product Also check your local Craigslist for air purifiers. But consumer reports has reported thatr most air purifiers don't really work. I think. CHeck reviews online of air purifiers before you spend you money. r1v3th3ad
I smoke cigarettes in my room here at my apartment and hookah everywhere else. The hookah doesn't linger too long and smells good anyway... as for cigs, I burn 3-5 cheap incense sticks per cigarette and I'm fine(have to, my roommates dont care for cigs)...but it does nothing for the cig smell on my bed and clothing I just ran out of incense however, so I've been using party candles...they dont neutralize right off the bat, but within an hour my room smells decent
noodle
For a super-high-powered anti-cigarette de-stinkifying, try incense the way the ancients did it: Light a charcoal in a dish of sand and sprinkle fragrant resins on top. Good choices are frankincense, myrrh, dragon's blood, copal, and mastic to name a few. All are easily and cheaply available on Ebay.

I too was an altar server. Never saw any hint of sexual abuse.

king_lunchb0x
bumpy bump... I was looking into purifiers kinda sorta and hit a wall. Im not looking to get rid of the smell, I Don't care about it one way or the other. The reason is to make the air a bit cleaner. AS of now I have My window open and a fan facing it (kinda like exhaust setup) Just to push the smoke out of my apt and make it into the baby killer California says it is. In all honesty I would like the clean it up a bit. So I startedLooking at some reviews the only ones that seemed to be reviewed are 400+ (way the hell out of my budget). So Now to my Question: anyone who owns a filter/purifier for the price of 50-100$ seem to notice the diff with it on and off? Or if someone knows a little about this maybe they can tell me what kind of filtering system to look for.
Kathrynx
Ok, even though original poster is gone, I'll put this here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ecoquest-Fresh-Air-Air-Purifier-/251005733482?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a711b8a6a#ht_500wt_1413 It works WONDERS. My mom had one, and I got myself one. We don't smoke cigs in the house here, but to get rid of chemical smells from cleaning, cooking smells, pet smells...works for everything. Mine has a mode on it for "away", its so strong that it can kill small animals and harm plants inside the house. Smells like a pool when its on, and if you feel a headache because of it, just turn it off and get yourself some fresh air. Care for it is really easy, no need to buy filters, and I have had mine for 3 years no problem, probably has to be cleaned like once a month or so, depending on how much you have it on, and it tells you when it needs to be cleaned.
