kmccoy90
I bought a MYA Francesco (a screw-in vase/stem) in August. The vase cracked a little bit a few months ago, despite proper care and maintenance. It still worked fine, so whatever. Tonight, I picked it up after smoking with some friends, one hand on base and the other on stem, and the glass cracked the entire way around. The threaded segment remained in the heart of the stem and the bottom of the vase separated. Is there anything I can do about this? Will calling Mya lead to a replacement or am I S.O.L.? Chreees
Sounds like your only option will be to buy a replacement vase for it from Mya. But they may be willing to work out a discount for you or something since you haven't had it too terribly long. It'd be worth contacting them, I think. IainUM
DUCT TAPE!!!! in all reality, you could use some marine-grade patch puddy to put it together and reinforce it with duct tape. worked on one of my older hookahs, too
mushrat
you can try, but in this case imma gonna guess the latter.
ilikemyusername
the mya crystal vase on my collossus took a bust one day. I did something really stupid to clean my hookah, I put the garden hose on the bowl end and turned the water on full blast. The result of this stupid mistake was a circular hole in my crystal. Since it was a clean break I used aquarium silicone, not the silicone 2 (thats white and has poison in it) it sealid it perfectly and you can barely tell that there was ever a problem. I hope my misfortune and inginuity can help you.
