Mokutou
So a little while ago I purchased a Econo My Gyro hookah, and I love that thing. Recently I went to clean my hookah and tried to unscrew the downstem from upper part. I wasn't able to get it off, but I'm a fairly small girl, so I asked my boyfriend to get it off. He couldn't either. I tried using rubber gloves (for traction) and hot water (thinking maybe it was sugar crusted up on the threads) but to no avail. It's stuck on there pretty good. Any ideas on how to get it to budge? I'd hate to bust out the rust remover though I don't see any trace of rust anywhere. I just would like to avoid harsh chemicals in my hookah that I would be smoking out of later. Thanks again!
Chreees
Make sure it's dry. Take a towel and wrap it around the downstem. Take pliars and tug on it. Should break loose. Then clean the threads thoroughly to help insure it doesn't happen again. Let me know if this works.
