Congratulations dude,

I'm glad you had a good time around in San Diego. I'm actually flying on Sunday and I'll probably stop by both places.

Did you visit any landmarks or anything special? What did you think of the set up of the Tangiers hookah bar? I thought it's a nice upgrade from the old one.

I never saw the ol Tanagiers place so I have nothing to compare it to. That said, it's not much of a "lounge", it was like being over someone's house chillin in their basement.

We went to 3 other lounges; Fumari (downtown) Living Room (La Jolla) and Pasha (downtown).
Fumari was really cramped, packed and just ok.

Living Room was awesome with their view of La Jolla on the patio and a coffee shop downstairs.

Pasha has to be the best looking hookah lounge I've ever been too. And the service and hookah was also good. It had just had its grand opening that week so it wasn't packed at all. One of the owners came over to us and asked how everything was going and explained a little about the place so that was nice. This is a picture I took at Pasha

Outside of Hookah we spent a day in Balboa Park, wandered around La Jolla (shopping and went to the beach to see the sea lions) ate a lot of crab (mmmmm, seafood) and did night time stuff in the Gaslamp District.

That bar in the picture looks amazing. And that pipe is simply gorgeous, anyone know where i can get one like that online??

I'd love to visit Eric to buy a few things and smoke in his lounge. I could never get Noir to smoke and would definitely want to try it from the source.

Glad you enjoyed it, I'll definitely have to make a trip out there one summer. Post more pics if you got some!

Balboa Park was awesome! It was huge and I still didn't make it to the Zen garden. We did cross the pedestrian bridge and visit the museum of man though. Gaslamp was fun; standard downtown night scene but a slightly older crowd which I liked. I have more pics - i'll get them and post the link later.

Wow, I was really underwhelmed by Fumari, I hate going to sinbads, ali baba's is kind of out of the way but thank god I stumbled on this thread. Pasha looks like a great place to take the girls and Tangiers is definitely the place to watch fear and loathing in las vegas, play poker, and fuck around with eric when your with your mates. Nice!
