Skoozle
What kind of shisha will you be serving? BTW, that was a pretty hardcore thread jacking.
Chreees
I split your post off to a separate topic so it'd get more attention. It depends on what tobacco you plan on using. But I'd say a standard Egyptian bowl (what should come with the KMs) should be excellent in general for most tobaccos.
Stuie
I have always thought In a lounge for most smokers I would use Mya Bowls. Color code them like Tangiers Hoses. Phunnels for my loyal customers. Learned to smoked Tang out of a Hemi and Mya Bowl before I ever touched a phunnel Plus Mya Bowls are cheap but not total cheap clay egyptians you can pick up. Hassouni
Mya bowls are fragile. I'd go for bog-standard Egyptian bowls
Stuie
Some are thin but I still wouldn't say fragile.
HubertLovesMagdyZidan
I'd say dont go wit the STANDARD egyptians. The bowls i use arent HUGE but they are a TINY bit bigger than the average large egyptian. They are Egyptian Bowls made in Syria, a little thicker and VERY strong. Also you can lock the foil on easier. ALSO, if u are going to go with egyptians. Look around for the REALLY good egyptian bowls, there are the standard egyptian bowls and hte ones that are a bit nicer, they usually come in sets and they are a bit more consistent. I have like one and my buddy who owns a hookah lounge looks SPECIFICALLY for those. so ya kno, i stole a couple from him, gave all away except one. ezxen
for sturdyness and ease of packing go with mod bowls, but keep myas and phunnels on hand in my opinion .
magick777
From an economic point of view, using cheap Egyptian bowls works well, minimises cost and means you don't have to worry too much about breakage or loss. I've always liked the idea of a lounge implementing multiple size options of bowls and ideally, having a super-cheap "taster" option involving all of about a teaspoonful in a tobacco saving bowl, billed as a 30-60 min smoke, and a few "long smoke" or "pig out" options. If I were buying what I regard as the best bowls for the job without regard to cost, it would be Saphire all the way (German brand) with the Power Bowl as the weapon of choice for 1-4 people, the Hot Shot for trials, tasters, promotions and quickies, and the Funnel is worth it for Tang. One can also run them all through a dishwasher - but, they'll come at four or five times the price of just using Egyptian bowls, this is idealism not commercial recommendation. peaceman27
go with a small standerd bowl. Every lounge i've been to i've expected about an hour from their bowls. Sometimes a lounge suprises me and i can get 1 and a half or two hours from one hookah. I'd find Egyptian bowls that allow for 15ish grams and call it done. ilikemyusername
Mya bowls are fragile. I'd go for bog-standard Egyptian bowls
I don't even know how many egyptian bowls I've broken while puting them on pipes, never was is more appropriate to say "you get what you pay for" . Sure I've broken every other type of bowl you can think of (with the exception of a glass one) but they've all be dropped.
The Jester
I say egyptian from other topics you started I saw you plan having herbal tobacco as far as I know no herbal is wet enough to consider buying phunels or other bowls but consider having different sizes and charge them differently

The Jester
thats fair perhaps getting a few bigger or different bowls and giving them to returning customers wouldn't be a bad idea but thats just me
Epoch
KMs come with a pretty decent standard bowl. That'll suffice!
