EAK1791
If you're referring to some kind of smoking ban, most all of them denote private clubs as being exempt. And as far as I know, shisha isn't banned in London, just ridiculously taxed.
kmccoy90
What's ridiculous is Ashley Cole smoking. If I was getting paid millions to be an athlete, I'd, you know, not screw my respiratory system up.

Chreees
From what I understand it isn't banned. Smoking indoors is no longer allowed, yes, but shisha is not outright banned. There is, however, a ridiculous tax that makes it not worth buying. Just way too expensive. Yet indoor lounges exist because they label themselves as private clubs. Burakio
He's smoking electronic/electric shisa which is legal to do so, as I have also smoked it in the Funky Buddha Club in London's Mayfair area before. Not that great, nothing beats Tangiers! On another note, Ashley Cole is a prize plonker.
Chreees
I also forgot another reason to debunk the whole "shisha is banned in Britain" statement from the OP is the fact that there are outdoor lounges, which are perfectly legal. The only way indoor ones are legal is if they're private.
vendetta_revived
Shisha is definitely not banned in Britain. My gf is there for studies and she goes to shisha lounges all the time!!

[/quote] shisha is obviously not banned, however due to the smoking ban, its banned to do indoors, and only able to do it outdoors. if you do do it outdoors than still you need a tobbaco licence and need to proove you have paid tax on your shisha flavours, which will cost you £120 for a kg of alfaker. i have never heard about indoor places doing it legaly as private clubs, i know some places here that do it indoors but they do it completly illegaly, in basements and abandon buildings.
