pighair47
i have the combo bowl sold by hookah-shisha, my question is the glaze appears to have begun cracking and there are multiple spots on the bowl where it looks like the juice from the shisha has leaked in, they look like darker spots on the bowl, is this normal ? i have only had the bowl for maybe 6 months, and smoke about once a week. and should i worry about it, and if so is there any way for me to fix it ? cotsi95
Ya its normal. Nothing to worry about. If you are using the flip windscreen it puts a ton of heat in that little bowl. The one I had i took that windscreen off and made it a standard mod bowl it worked much better.
Epoch
The black crust happens all the time, just scrub it a lot. As far as the glaze cracking goes, that sucks but it will still work fine!

mushrat
I ended up ditching the screen myself. Rough side of a sponge??

[/quote] I'm partial to the softer side myself... It understands me more. Lol Yeah, everyone has the right idea. I've used a knife and just lightly scraped at the more intensively burned areas. To avoid this happening anymore (or at least in large amounts, I don't think you can stop it completely.) is to take a paper towel and wipe the top ridge and all around your bowl before putting your foil/screen on.
