Mostly just for aesthetic reasons though (i.e. the tray does not fit the style of the stem). I do think the "plug hose directly into heart" feature is nice though. And I do like the jugs. agunn1231
Hose just goes right in the heart. A lounge in Boulder has a lot of these in use. I like them, and wanna get one.
IainUM
200 bucks is quite a lot for a hookah that i REALLY dont need, though. i would have thought about getting one of these before i got the og tri, but it is WAY too late for that now

Chreees
I like the shank style, but agree with Jay... it needs its own tray, not a KM tray. The vases are nice, of course. I want one for my KM OG Tri, I think, but still dig my clear vase with red/black decals. The Alien... eh, not too crazy about the bowl but I do dig that red/black one on the Bronze/Red model. The hoses they come with, both are fine, but I do prefer the red/black one. I think ultimately I'd want the black shank, with the red genie vase, the red/black KM hose, a tray better fitted for the wood hookah, and the red/black Alien. The price, well this is how I feel about the price. It's a handcrafted piece of art. And it's made here in the USA. I like to compare it to Crown Hookahs. Their glass hookahs are in the same ballpark and, IMO, they are worthy of the price. Will I buy one? No, most likely never. For two reasons- 1. I'm a broke college student. 2. I already have two awesome pipes.
king_lunchb0x
personally im not a big fan of the wood. There crafted rather well. The hose into the heart is something new as well( well its new to me!). 200$ is rather step. But it seems like majority of prices are going up anyway. I would never buy one but at a lounge i wouldn't mind smoking out of one

cotsi95
There made about 40 min away from me. There cool but not my cup of tea. Id rather have a hose port and a metal hookah.
r1v3th3ad
I'd worry about the wood eventually going bad or if some idiot knocks it over(like me when its Hammered Time) it getting a ding or a small chunk missing...too much maintenance it appears
squidget
I think its pretty damn sexy. Though I'm saving my expensive hookah spending for a glass one.
dizzbizz
I liked them when they posted about them in here. But these photos make it look ugly. The tray and base do not match at all. If I pay 200 for a hookah it better look good out of the box. I shouldn't have to buy separate trays and bases to make it look the way it should. EDIT:Also which rust proof KM hose is that pictured? EDIT2: Found them http://www.hookahcompany.com/braided_handle_km_washable_hose_5360_prd1.htm
rhineholt
Id be afraid of my cat using the wood part as a scratching post or something... BESIDES THAT SEXY
Matto
I actually have one of these coming straight from the guys that make them, should be here before the end of the week. Maybe I'll make my first video review when it gets here

no longer welcome
I saw one the other night at the tangeirs lounge. it's nice and sturdy, and i definitely give the guys credit that put it together. it must take a lot of effort to make one. I think $200 is fair. god, i mean eric picked on it a bit. yes it could use some improvement, just as anything good but still a great effort. i want to smoke out of one. maybe i will even buy one. mxtaylor
I wish they made other models. I'd be interested in a smaller $140-160 version
GeorgieHC
Hi Guys, I personally love my model, it is my daily smoker now. The hose and check ports are the largest I have ever seen. I can feel the restriction from my hose and head but not from the stem. I agree they need to make trays that match the pipe. I hope I am not over steeping my bounds posting my opinion on this product. The wood is so dense and durable I can not imagine it breaking. I will try to get pictures of then ports/air ways as soon as I get my camera in the mail =)
