Allergic to blackberry

Recommended Posts

I doubt you'd get a reaction to the shisha... but don't take my word for it. I've heard that very few manufacturers use actual fruit in the process... and even if they did, whatever component of the blackberry fruit that bothers you probably wouldn't carry through the smoke. That's my guess, anyway. If it's that serious of a risk, best not to try it no matter how low the possibility of a reaction. On a side note, smoking herbal shisha composed of unknown ingredients does NOT sound like a good idea for people with allergies. Another reason for herbal shisha manufacters to give up the whole sacred secret recipe pantload.

You could try calling and asking the manufacturer; or ask whoevers selling for an ingredients list, and then ask a doctor if you'll be okay. But, I say this as a person with no food allergies; just pollen and bees

Allergic reactions are very tricky. I am deadly allergic to cashews, pistachios and less allergic to macadamias. Its hard to know. Since the flavoring, allthough artificial, contains many of the same components as the actual blackberry, it may be one of those...I would avoid it. When I accidently get exposed to cashews/pistachios I eat 10-12 Benadryls. 6-8 would probably work if there were and adverse reaction.

sh*t; I took 4 benedryls when my allegry's made it damn near impossible to function; and I was stoned as sh*t! I can't imagine 6-8; let alone 10-12

As drugies will tell you, more is not necessarily more. 10-12 doesn't hit you necessarily any harder than three to four. Its not a linear function, anyhow. In some cases, larger doses of sedative-type drugs will actually start making them more stimulant like, or vice versa.

As someone in the medical field that deals with alergic reactions on a daily basis, here is what I can tell you:1.  Alergic reactions can cause your throat to close, cause you to break out in hives, and are generally very painful.2.  If you break out into anaphylactic shock, and your throat starts to close, you can literally be braindead in 7-10 minutes, if you don't recieve the proper care.3.  Why on earth would you even try this!  Stay safe, stay smart, stay alive. My $0.02.Edit for poor spelling.

which bring us perfectly to my next point - Don't Smoke Crack.
what about flavored crack, or crackers.....ok im really lame ill go hide now....
Crackers are too dry to smoke normally. You either crumble them up and snort them; or put some spray cheese on one, and make a lil sandwich; then smoke it.:Pequally lame, if not worse.
