mustafabey
Nice going Terry Jones, hope you feel fulfilled now tha your actions have caused deaths of innocent people(Christians,Terry, your own people) You can now join the Idiots Hall of Fame along with fellow pastor Fred Phelps who dishonors our service men who have paid the ultimate price.Your Qu'ran burning seemed to be kept out of the news but the Taliban got wind of it and are agitating the people.Just when our Afghan strategy might be taking a turn for the better. The Taliban are on the run these days and you have single handedly given them a weapon of destruction. What difference, pray tell Rev Jones,is there between you and the fire breathing mullahs of radical Islam? They told you back when you threatened this in December(?) that it would cost lives.Of course, like all zealots, you will take no responsibility for your actions. If Americans die because of your selfish hatred,Rev Jones, then you are a traitor to your country, and aider and abettor of the enemy. Mullah Omar must singing your praises, you snatched him out of the jaws of defeat. With the economy in shambles, with middle class America under assault, with a three front war,you now would like to take the whole Islamic world. Stupidity, ignorance, hatred, intolerance and idiocy seem to reign supreme in America these days.

flydigital55
i've been seeing ad : that's so gay = ignorance. how come i don't see ad that says : muslims are terrorists = ignorance ??? hate speech is hate speech.
If you really want to know, its quite simple. America now has lots of overly sensitive people. These same people want to control others and enforce their beliefs on everyone, because they think people don't know what is best for themselves and need to be saved from themselves. These same people believe everything the media tells them and they are so completely ignorant and unwilling to seek truth that they live in a completely different reality than the rest of the world (including the majority of Americans). They believe they need to protect gay people (they can't protect themselves) and they need to protect everyone from other people who have different beliefs or culture. Any questions? joytron
How about placing some blame where it belongs. Servetus
It's wrong for any government to ban sale or possession of any Holy Book. What an individual chooses to do, (burn or not burn) with any book he owns is his business and his right. My 2 cents.
mushrat
true. it is his right to burn any book he wants. Look how well the Nazi's did with that. It is purely a publicity stunt and is getting far more attention than it should from everyone. If we ignore idiots, they will quietly fade away to some quiet room to mumble to themselves. Unless you go legally insane due to the actions of others, you are responsible for your own choice. Saying "He made me do it." is crap you spew in elementary school. And even decades later, it's still a bullshit excuse. And your bull in a bullpen excuse is invalid. We, as humans are CAPABLE of reasonable/rational thought. Your bull is not. If you still have control over your actions, you should be held solely responsible. They could've went about it another way. Peaceful demonstrations, hell even punching others in the face...nobody MADE them kill each other. They CHOSE to do that themselves. It's the knowing in advance and doing it anyway that bring responsibility back onto your doorstep. He KNEW, he absolutely KNEW the result, admitted it many times before he called off this stupidity last year, and simply did not care. That doesn't mean those who committed the crime bear no responsibility, but the person who incited it also carries a substantial portion. So I contend it is exactly the same as waiving a red flag before an irrational beast. If you know the beast is irrational, what the hell are you doing waiving the freakin' flag????? TheScotsman
Put a cross in a bucket of piss, and some jackass will call it art Repaint the last supper with some naked woman in the center, and get a gov't run museum to exhibit it. Another naked woman on a cross in an image depicting the final moments of Y-shua and it will be worthy of more Gov't sponsored floor space. Smear the Holy Mother with elephant shit, and get a federal endowment grant. Y-shua getting a BJ from a gay guy gets state funding from the economic development office (why??), and a spot in a gov't museum And I am supposed to think some idiot burning a koran in the USA is a big affront? That is just plain bat-shit crazy. Moreover, I am supposed to worry how the average afghan is insulted by that action... in a country that openly persecutes Christians, and will gang-murder you with rocks in the street if you own a Christian Bible? I don't think I am going to give a feck about it. Pull the US forces out of the place, and let them murder eachother over it; after all, if it's not that, it's going to be something else.
