MichaelLCP
I seem to like the plastic containers better. I have a few of the glass clamping ones and they always seem to get stuck closed. Not my favorite.
noodle
Mason jars might be a better choice for glass storage. Yeah, bail tops look neat, but with a mason jar, you can use a church key to pry open a stuck lid.

Chreees
Moving this to Discussion, as it's about hookah tobacco... I say just use whichever you like best. Me, personally, I don't like either. I like the shallow rectangular Glad Take-A-Longs with the red lids.

cotsi95
If your smoking tangiers you want shallow and wide. The more surface area the better for acclimation.

king_lunchb0x
jars just arent great for me... metal always gives off this foul oder when it gets wet. Not so easy to stir up. And you have to get super large mason jars to fit 250g+ in one

Kapten Kanel
For shisha that doesnt come with a decent container (nakhla) i just put it all in a plastic bag aimed for use in a freezer (=supposedly airtight), works good, but i always smoke it all up rather fast, for long term storage (6 months+) im not sure. oramac
I'm currently switching all my containers over to the ziploc twist n loc containers except for my tangiers, which is put in those glad tag a long. I'm switching from mason jars for nakhla, and he containers the other brands come with. mushrat
just one more breakable thing for me or my friends to knock over. My shisha doesn't hang around long enough to have to worry about oxygen getting through the plastic.

All labeled and ready for shisha!!!
Lol those are some very professional lables. I'm too lazy for that. Tang gets the wrapper taped on, anythign else, written on loose leaf and taped on. Everything, and I mean everything I smoke goes into shallow red tag-a-longs. Especially for when you areat the end of your stash of a certain 250, it's a LOT easier to push out and around with your fingers than say a mason jar. Plus, 3 of them for 2 bucks here in KY, it's the best deal I can get for effective storage of any shisha.
