New But Ready To Go

Hey everybody,

I'm new to this forum and to hookah in general. I have a cheap chinese hookah right now.(got it in a smoker store in town)
But I'm ready to step up my game I have looked around a lot and watched a lot of youtube videos.
I was thinking about an egyptian hookah first but then I was like mhh whatever, its probably worth it, let's go with a KM.
I really like the design of km and heard they're like the best of the best. (prob. point of view)

But yes, either one will be great. Both will smoke the same. Just go with which one you think looks best. I've owned both (still own the OG):

As for shisha brands, I stick mainly with Tangiers, but also I like Nakhla and Al Fakher. Get the Lucid line of Tangiers first if you do decide to try it out.

You could get a KM and be all set, but it won't stop there! You'll need to accesorize! You'll soon need a washable hose and phunnel. you can't do it right with those instant light disks so you'll want to get a coil burner and real coals. If you do go with instant light coals Hookahjohn.com sells the best, they're referred to as CH on the forum. If you haven't read the rules already make sure you do, Rule #2 is very important here, otherwise you'll end up with a vacation. This is a very helpful forum, welcome to it!
Oh, almost forgot... Starbuzz is unethical overpriced cruddy shisha for the kids and Hookah hookah is a step abve but not really what I would call good, good to begin with I suppose but easy to mess up and loses flavor quickly. anyway, Welcome to the forum!

Oh, yeah... I'm from Tampa too. I live in bradenton right now, just on the other side of the skyway but I'm in tampa all the time if you want to smoke sometime.

No no, they're both KMs. Just that HC shouldn't be referring to that model as the original. The OG Tri I posted up is the original, as KM made it first, then the other one came later. They have many many varieties of trimetal models.

ok thanks for the tip. i'll probably go with natural coals. i use quick lights right now. but that will change with the KM.

yeah... and if your going to do all that then become a Premium member. Its totally worth it. I don't know why I waited so long... I saved more on my first order than I spent becoming Premium. Plus my name is the same color as the BALTIMORE RAVENS!! Fuck Yeah!

^ this guy... is the BEST vendor if you live in FL. He ships quickly and packages nicely but the best part is HE'S IN FL! I usually get my packages in 2 days.
