pauldavis Posted July 31, 2006 Share Posted July 31, 2006 So i bought a MYA QT from elitehookah.com and all seemed well at firs, bu8t then i noticed that it was leaking water from the base. upon further inspection, i noticed that there are 2 hairline fractures in the base that leak water when i smoke (the reason i did not notice right away was i thought it was just condensation). so i called up the elitehookah guy and talked to him about it, and he told me to call MYA. basically blew me off. i have tried e-mailing him and called twice with no response.....just a warning for everyone (and hopefully this will rouse him into responding) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

skiracerj1 Posted July 31, 2006 Share Posted July 31, 2006 in elitehookah's defense, I along with several other forum members have had great experiences with them, and while I sympathize with what happened to you, you did get everything taken care of and lets not go throwing them under the bus for one incident. And no I am not affiliated with them, and if you look at my old posts I was critical of them at first but I had an incredibly smooth transaction with them when I bought my QT so I'm just trying to point out that what happened here isnt the norm, now to shorten up that long winded response, elitehookah not all bad, me not with elite hookah Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I honestly was not blowing you off, I thought that the fastest way for you to get a replacement vase would be to go directly through MyaSaray.As for your phone calls, we are occassionally no available for customer calls on the weekends. This is because our suppliers are not available and UPS does not make pickups. In addition, this weekend was both my birthday and my wedding anniversary... I was a bit distracted. Your concerns were responded to and solved to your satisfaction on the first business day.Please accept my humble apologies. It was my mistake for assuming that MYA could solve that problem. Personally, I think the Vendor should made good on the defect (what ever it is, not just talking about this case), then the vendor take it up with the supplier. But since Elite took care of it the next business day, and there WERE reasonable extenuating circumstances,(happy b'day and Anniversary, my second isnt far off) I'd say cut him some slack..he seems to be doing pretty good by the folks here in the forum.Without the silly gimicks (BAD MUSHRAT, NO DONUT!)(I'm not with him, i don't know him, I've never ordered from him.)
