Hookah Lounge/smoke Shop Research

Greetings everyone!

This past year I had to choose a place, specific or broad, to do research on for a class. Being the hookah enthusiast I am, I chose to base my research around Hookah Lounges and Smoke Shops. More specifically, how to own and operate one successfully! Part of this project requires me to share my research, or any kind of information related to it, with an audience that would be most appropriate. Perhaps some of you are interested in starting up one of these shops one day like myself, or maybe you are simply curious! All are welcome to read and enjoy!

Now with any business, the conditions of success can vary from place to place, but in my research I found that there are three main factors that one must generally pay attention to no matter where they run this kind of business. These three things are that one must be loyal to their customers so that they gain regulars, they must stay true to the culture behind the hookah, and they must be aware of certain laws that can conflict with such a business. Obviously such extensive research cannot be completely summed up in a small post such as this, which is why I have included a copy of my final paper.
