It wasn't like he was a spring chicken, 3 wives, and one under 30, unless they found a case of viagra... one has to wonder. Must be something in the Couscous. Pink Smoke
I'm not trying to start up a shit-storm, but I also think that, despite a criminal who deserves to meet his maker is dead, it is a little late. He is martyred by American hands, and he will have followers. "Have we cut off the head of the snake, only to create a hydra?" This is what my sister told me. I agree. Personally, I think he deserved a fate worse than death. He should have been put on trial in an American court. He should have been proven guilty, and spent the rest of his life in a solitary cell. Do you know what solitary does to the mind? It destroys it. The human being is a social animal. In solitary, not even your servers who give you your daily three hots talk to you. In essence, you slowly go insane. I can think of no better punishment. Not to mention, if we shot him in a place where we would have given him nerve damage, he would be in pain for the rest of his miserable life, which would also push him over the brink. Yes, I believe Binladen should be punished. Did he deserve death? No. That was too good for him. This is my opinion. Take it or leave it. It may not mean that I am right, but I do believe that this man deserved a punishment that would be an ongoing, living hell, and I am sorry that this did not happen. kevin2323
it was much better to shoot him on sight imo....the simple fact that he would be on the news alive and people wanting to interview him. solitary wouldnt have done a thing to an already insane man. and no i dont believe we created a hydra because he would be the one to say what was a good killing and a bad killing......i think without him they will continue as they always have for years and years, nothing will change just the simple fact that we killed his ass and the fact that he had no clue it was happening was the most satisfactory part. Allstar
This is what was on my friends status for a while, "Bin laden thought he was getting 72 virgins instead he got 24 Virginians." Good riddance to bad rubish. In the situation shooting for nerve damage is a lot harder to do. If it was a sniper shooting at a standing still target it would be much easier. Pink Smoke
Okay, so you have a point. I mean no disrespect. I just wish that his punishment would have been something fiercer. Then, again, I guess that there is nothing quite as fierce as an angry American army, right? I mean, I could be wrong, but we have one of the toughest armies on the planet.
