TheyCallMeDave
Starbuzz is indeed honey based. I don't really notice much of a difference, especially since AF is a molassas base and on good days can put out just as much smoke IMO... The only major difference I see from molassas to honey is the price difference. Honey based brands seem to have higher prices.
Evilsquirrel
Fantasia is honey based, I dont think theres that much of a difference other than price
EvansLight
They pretty much serve the same function, just as already stated the honey based brands tend to be more expensive, as honey is more expensive the molasses. If you had two set up, with similar flavors but just honey and molasses being the difference, you might notice a very minor difference, but normally you won't. [/quote] negative sir , israeli made nakhla is molasses based without a doubt , checked yday . and im pretty sure the egyptian ones are molasses based too , next time ill buy egyptian nak ill check what the pack says ... any chance u getting nak made in some other country ? or maybe u looked up in a diff series ? im talking about the normal nak , not mizo or anything like that ... plus , if u visit nakhla site , ull notice on their 'default' series , they say molasses tobacco right near the flavour on the pack , and ull see the same in ingredients ... Arcane
Sorry to break the news to you, but the exact term "molasses" is incorrect. And I actually believe I was incorrect in my statement as well. Nakhla may actually be corn syrup based, not honey (corn syrup is cheaper). As stated by Eric, proprietor of Tangiers: "The only commonly available molasses tobacco on the market is Tangiers. Many companies refer to corn syrup as molasses (incorrectly)." Oh, and more bad news....it's not really .5% nicotinated either.

Arcane
There was a long discussion regarding the subject on the forums...try and search posts for honey or molasses and authored by Sonthert. If all else fails, I'll call Eric later and discuss with him again.

Jesse
Didn't know Starbuzz is honey based. I think Al Baraka and the TeaSha Tea Shisha both have honey in them, but both are Herbal so I guess that would be expected?
