TweakX4
so i smoke cigarettes regularly and i started rolling my own to save money (and they're much better) but lately i've been thinking about adding pure powdered caffeine to the mix. i got the idea from tang's f-line but i don't know if this would transfer well over to the direct burning of cigarettes well. i know there are serious risks dealing with pure caffeine but i'm more concerned with it being "safe" if done correctly. any ideas or input? ilikemyusername
Personally, I'm sure you could do it, in moderation. Too much caffeine has the potential to send you into an arythmia. When I need caffeie I drink coffee. Coffee and a smoke... breakfast of champions...
OnwardFlying
Do it. You wont regret it. Just titrate your caffeine for strength, adding a little more powder to each cig. Don't want to see vivid colors while your heart races...(friend smoked caf. pure) I made these in high school after my friend extracted caffeine from caffeine pills, made a killing off them! No real problems (i.e. mental/cardio), and they really helped me through lethargy and apathy. Process: Buy caffeine pills from your local drug store. Crush them up, not too chunky and as fine as your care. Add crushings to water and heat until dissolved and a boil has started. Remove heat shortly until boiling subsides and cools, a precipitate will form (thats the bad crap). Take water mix and pour it into a moistened paper coffee filter. Let water evaporate, and presto! Practically pure caffeine to add to everything under the sun! Here are solubility charts for caffeine in water, 25c being room temp, 100c is when water boils. If you have trouble with the equations, I can help you perform a grade A extraction with a few details. (like how much water you need for your pills) 2.17 g/100 mL (25 °C) 18.0 g/100 mL (80 °C) 67.0 g/100 mL (100 °C) Or to be more simple, yet much less fun, you could just order it online. I hope this helps!

no longer welcome
smoking is for tobacco, hookah mostly, maybe an occasional cigarette or cigar. drinking coffee is for caffeine, an occasional tea or soda, or red bull that's the way it is for me anyways. I'm not the experimental type I guess. but from my cig smoking days i can remember anything going better with a smoke than a nice cup of coffee, good luck with that. OnwardFlying
Shame 4loko were reformulated w/o caffeine. But with the pure caffeine and a cheap (not the grey one) milligram scale from eBay, you can make it happen. Hell, I heard showering with caffeinated soap is worth a cup of coffee when you lather up fully before rinsing off. Strange things the world comes up with, eh?
