first new hookah, possibly mya

Recommended Posts

People on this forum love MYA's, and you're not going to get much of anything but praise and recommendations for them here.. and for good reason! I own a MYA QT and love it.. you can't go wrong.. heavy-duty, well-built, great warranty, and great looks to boot

Myasaray hookahs generally have a very solid modern construction and smoke well, but I do have to say that I'm not sure if Mya hookahs are as superior as all the hype and praise on these forums make them out to be. The QT is not without problems, like most hookahs, but I'm thoroughly satisfied with mine. What gives it its unique value is that it's the most solid small hookah on the market -- such quality in such a small piece is both convenient and charming. However, I also have a 30 inch Mya Bohemian which, although it's really beautiful, falls short in terms of performance. The sole problem is that the stem is too narrow, causing a tighter more restricted airflow. I think I may have pulled a chest muscle smoking out of it The only other Mya I have smoked was at a hookah lounge -- different stem, but still a rather tight draw. They also had way too much water in the vase, though.I'm most interested in Khalil Mamouns and these Nours but neither are really anywhere to be found. Hookahcompany.com has some Khalil Mamoun hookahs, but they just removed the really nice deal I was about to buy There's also a really fancy expensive one at pimpyourhookah.com.Nours, however, are absolutely nowhere to be found
