How Do I Get My Hands On Some Shisha? (Romania Forbids It)

Recommended Posts

Hey there! I exhausted all possibilities and found that there's no choice but to go underground to get some shisha in Romania. It's apparently forbidden here. I left the USA for Romania for exactly that reason, so that I can live in a country where a couple more things are legal. But what the hell? I forgot Romania was in the Uptight Union (i.e. EU).

I got my hands on some Nakhla tobacco which was still in some shops and they kept it inside their shelves for people they can trust, but that's all that's left. I think I just about drained the entire city's remains of shisha tobacco, and would like to know what I can do to get more. Is it possible that I can order from some of USA's fine stores which offer worldwide shipping? I mean, after all, I'm still a US citizen living in Romania, and would like to be allowed to do something that's legal in my country. Heck, I'd even move to Arabia, but those countries are starting to crack down on the hookah also. CRAP!

I think some of you fine folks from the UK visiting this forum might have something to say, since you guys find yourselves in the same situation I do. Thanks!

Not illegal for us, but illegal for you... As I said on another thread the other day, Hookah Forum does NOT in any way condone secretly shipping tobacco out of the United States to countries that have tight customs laws.

Here, make sure you have read this: http://www.hookahfor...quired-reading/

Actually, wait a second. I think the tobacco is allowed for personal use to be brought in across the border, but not allowed to be sold within Romanian borders. That's what I'm hearing now from a friend that owns a tobacco shop. This could probably work, then. I guess I'll talk to a legal expert on this, then.
