review: mya acrylic

Recommended Posts

Lately I have been looking for a hookah that I can easily mix juices in the base and have a strong hitting hookah. After a little bit of searching I came upon the MYA Acrylic hookah, which retails for $60. Although I decided to order it directly from NO.VI Cafe. When I picked up my package the next day it came with: base, stem, small head, quality hose, tray, and some tongs. I didn't expect to receive a small head, but in this case I guess I just have to deal with it.Laying around the house I had some Havana blueberry tobacco which is decent quality shisha. For the base of the hookah I wanted to add water and blueberry juice, but unfourtantely I had ran out of the blueberry, so I substituted that with milk instead. I also decided that the small head wasn't going to cut it, so I brought out one of my larger heads to fill with shisha. I tossed one Three Kings coal on top and got it started. After a few drags the hookah got hitting and hitting well at that. I was very impressed with how much smoke I was getting and how clean it tasted. Everything was holding up very sturdy and nothing felt cheap at all with the hookah.Overall: 9/10
