[size="3"]So this post is about me somewhat eating my words. Idefended hookahset on multiple occasions, but I don't think I will anymore.They still have the best prices on tangiers right now, which might win my moneyback again, but it'll be hard to do. I personally had never had any issues withthem until now…[/size]

[size="3"]I ordered 5 noir, 5 lucid tangiers, 1 tangiersmedium phunnel pink, and 1 green Havana bowl from hookahset on 5/12. That sameday they called and said they were out of pink phunnels so I said fine, give mea white one (they were also missing some flavors I wanted but that's neitherhere nor there). I actually appreciated the call, it's the right way to dobusiness. That's pretty much were the good business part ends.[/size]

[size="3"]I got the package on 5/16 and did a little dance, asI always do when I receive a box of goodies. It started out so well; I had 5noir, 5 lucid, all the flavors I asked for. Hooray! I dug deeper into the box,to find nothing. Missing both bowls. Well that stinks! The next day I calledthem and talked to a nice lady who apologized and said they would be shippedout that day and she would email me a tracking number. That never happened. Aweek later: no package. I called again, talked to probably the same lady. Sheapologized and said they would be shipped out that day and she would email me atracking number. That never happened. A week later: no package. I called athird time, talked to probably the same lady, but this time [color="black"]time I demanded to talk to asupervisor of some sort[/color]. I believe I talked to the owner (whose nameescapes me) and told him about my problems. He apologized and told me it wouldbe sent out that day with a tracking number. We went over exactly what I wantedand what I expected, and he agreed on the phone that if my order was not rightor was not in my hands by Tuesday June 7, 2011, that he would refund my money($18) for the two bowls.[/size]

[size="3"]Yesterday Ireceived my package! Finally, a situation rectified by common sense and thepower of the boss man crackin' down on the peons. I open the box, and much tomy chagrin inside is not a medium white phunnel and green Havana bowl… No,inside is a large tangiers phunnel bowl in BLACK. Not only did they not get thesize right, they sent THE POLAR OPPOSITE COLOR THEY COULD POSSIBLY SEND.[/size]

[size="3"]I sent theman email more than 24 hours ago (their auto-response is that someone wouldcontact me within 18 hours…) stating I wanted my money back and the storylisted above. The email ends as follows: "I will expect a call or email from amember of[/size] [size="3"][url="http://hookahset.com/"][color="#0000CC"]hookahset.com[/color][/url][/size] [size="3"]no later than end ofbusiness Wednesday June 8, 2011. I am sorry that it came to this, all I wantedwas what I ordered, but after 3 weeks of back and forth it seems that I cannothave what I paid for. [/size]"

[size="3"]If they donot follow through by calling me by end of business today, they will receive aphone call from me every 30 minutes until I have my money. It's not even aboutthe money. It's $18, boohoo. It's the fact that their blatant disregard forrunning a half decent business is, at this point, laughable. I do not recommendordering from this company, but I still might…just for the tobacco. Maybe I never learn….[/size]

That sucks, but I promise I won't say those 4 words.....

A few bucks more and you can get what you want from a lot of other vendors... correct order... the first time.

Yeah I just received (after bugging them three times) my medium tangiers phunnel bowl that I ordered a month (or more) ago. I requested white - I received a two-color, black bowl, white stem. They just don't have their shit together. I can't imagine I'll ever order from them again.

that's some really big text...

and I've never been a fan of hookahset, but some people are willing to risk bad customer service and inaccurate orders to save a few bucks. different strokes.

How much is your peace of mind worth? I order from three places - John, HC, H-S. (And I'm also told on excellent authority that Nazar is exceptional as well though I've never personally ordered from him.) I've never had a single problem. Not one. None of these are rock bottom, undercut prices type vendors, but every one of them is reputable, properly services their customers, and offers fair prices for the service and products rendered. Could I save a couple bucks elsewhere? Possibly. But I wouldn't be able to place an order and forget about it with complete confidence that it's going to arrive on time, and exactly what I ordered.

I know we all want a deal, but worrying about my stuff? Nah..... I'll pay a little more and save myself the aggravation.

Glad I never did order from them and will make damn sure not to. I think what pisses me off the most about them is I tried helping Mark so much only for him to seemingly ignore it all. Whatever, their loss.

I think their horrific website would be a warning sign for anyone (I too got lured in by the prices and had an order go mildly wrong, though quickly rectified). Warning bells should go off for anyplace that spells bowl as "bowel"

Spelling... One of the MANY things I told Mark he had to fix if he wanted people to take them seriously. Of course they never did, and probably never will...

Yea, I've had problems with hookahset too. I'd order their 5 pack of tangiers and would always, always receive a phone call saying that they were out of at least 3 flavors. Then, I ordered their golden strawberry for my sis and they sent regular strawberry. They said keep the regular strawberry, they'll refund me the $10, and send out the golden strawberry. They did the first 2, but never sent the golden strawberry.

Hookahset has great prices, but the problems and horrible customer service are not worth it. Does anybody remember when they sent out vases in boxes packed with newspaper?

sorry to hear you had to go through this Evan...every order I've had has had some sort of trouble, but I keep going back because I'm cheap and they're usually good with me on customer service

For the past 3 months I have pretty vigorously defended hookahset on numerous online communities when others have told me never to order from them. I would say, "I have never had an issue with them, I like them, I will give them my business." I will never do this again. Do you realize that you are the laughing stock of 3 online communities? It's not about your prices (in fact they are fantastic), it's not about your stock (it's questionable at times due to stock), but it is 100% about your lack of customer service. If hookahset upped their game in the realm of customer service it could be a far more competitive company. I originally ordered a Pink Tangiers Medium bowl, I was called to be told it was out of stock, so I told them to send white. Your company then sent, after 3 weeks, a Black Large Tangiers bowl. The Green Havana Bowl was never sent. I am not sure on what planet "nothing" is equivalent to "what was ordered." All I wanted was what I used my hard earned dollars to purchase, but instead all I got was a 3 week headache. You will never receive my business again.

That being said, Katie I got your $13 for the bowl you never got. I did my best, sorry bud. I'm done with that group of morons, oh well. It was mediocre while it lasted.

SHITHEADS STRIKE AGAIN.

So you are expected to send the package back? You were promised your bowls would be in your hands by the 7th or you'd have a refund.... did you get the correct order? I can't believe people are still sending these turds money. How many more of these stories until people get it? (Definitely not a slam directed as you Zild)
